The Guadalupe River is only 0.5 miles from these campsites - which are convenient drive-up campgrounds. The park's bathroom and shower facilities are nearby. The park has several miles of hiking trails, including a segment of the Guadalupe River Trail, which runs along the river and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Site E is our closest site to the Guadalupe River! It is a very short distance walk away. The Guadalupe River is known for its clear, spring-fed waters and is popular for recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, and tubing. The park covers almost 4,000 acres and includes a variety of habitats, including oak forests, grassy meadows, and wetlands. It is home to a wide range of plant and animal life, including many species of birds and native wildflowers. If you are looking to book more than 1 tent, while sites D and C offer seclusion, there is a walking path between the two. Each site must be booked separately. The park entrance fee is $6 per camper per day, this will be charged at checkout.

This Signature Site comes with a wheelchair-accessible ramp as well as convenient parking next to the site. Located near the park's primitive campsites, this partially-shaded site features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit, and two Adirondack chairs are also included. There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access the nearby park bathroom with flushable toilets and showers.Trailside B-J: Located 10 miles within the state park but can only be accessed by following Sawmill Road. This partially-shaded site has drive-up access for you to park and unload right by your tent. Campers may also bring their own horses for this part of the State Park offers Equestrian Camping. You'll also have easy access to River View Trail as well as Yellowstone Landing Trail. Site B is not fully secluded, there are other Signature sites around the area within 50 feet of each other. Your campsite features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit, and two Adirondack chairs are also included. There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access the nearby park bathroom with flushable toilets and showers. Not far from downtown Houston lies Brazos Bend State Park, a scenic haven for birdwatchers, wildlife observers and stargazers. Campers can enjoy over 30 miles of multi-use trails, from hiking to biking and equestrian trails Brazos Bend has it all - there are several wheelchair-friendly trails too. Fishing is another popular activity and no fishing license is required. The park has three lakes for fishing Hale, Forty Acre and New Horseshoe. Fish from the pier at Hale lake or from the shore at New Horseshoe Lake. Nature Programs are also offered every weekend and on most holidays in the parks Nature Center. When the sun starts to set, head down the road to the George Observatory where star parties take place Saturday nights starting at dusk.
