The property is only accessible by car. Driving is recommended, although Uber and Lyft are available for rides at the cabins.

Notes

Starlight Horizon is a Dark Skies Community, so it is intentionally low lighting in order to see the stars. Flashlights are provided in your cabin for your safety and navigation.

While the cabins at Starlight Horizon Canyon Lake can sleep up to 8 people total, it is most comfortable up to 7 due to the 4th bed in each cabin being either a sleeper sofa OR futon. For any additional questions regarding sleeping arrangements, please contact us directly

Neighborhood

Guests often enjoy floating the San Marcos River, wine tasting in Fredericksburg, Sailing on Canyon Lake, concerts at White Water Amphitheater, dancing in Gruene Hall, or Schlitterbahn Waterpark all within a short drive from the property.

Access

You will have the entire home to yourself! This is an event space, so feel free to have other guests join you in the cabin, or at the community areas as well, even if it is higher than 8 persons. We are on a septic system, so if you do have extra guests, please be mindful not to use too much water too quickly.

House Rules

– The community pool and games area are a shared space. You are welcome to use the games and pool in the common area, just please be respectful of other guests.

– No loud/disturbing noise after 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends.

– No food and drink in the bedroom

– Smoking inside the cabins is prohibited. Smoking on patios or common areas outdoors is acceptable. Violations will result in forfeiture of all payments and or deposits and be subject to additional charges.

– Please put garbage bags in the trash dumpster located by the storage units.

– Any damage to property will be charged to guest.

– Make sure to turn off the lights, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.

– Wash all dishes, take sheets off beds that were used, put used towels next to the beds, and throw out the garbage before checkout.

– Upon checkout please put the thermostat heat to 67 degrees, or cool to 74 degrees on Auto.

– Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

– This is a Dark Skies community. The property is intentionally dark in areas to allow starlight visibility. Flashlights have been provided for your safety while navigating the property.

Check-In And Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Property Description And Amenities

We have made every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs of our properties on our website are accurate. However, please note that the actual property may differ slightly from the description and photographs. Amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable TV, and appliances are provided as described on the website, but we cannot guarantee that they will be in working order at all times.

Occupancy

The maximum occupancy for each property is stated on the website. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any extra guests not included in the booking.

Damage And Cleanliness

Guests are responsible for leaving the property in a clean and orderly condition. Any damage caused by guests during their stay will be charged to their credit card on file.

Liability

We are not liable for any damages, injuries or losses incurred by guests during their stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being and should take appropriate precautions.
