We have 22 acres of land with 3600 feet of riverfront, abutting a beautiful town forest with direct access to the Ashuelot Rail Trail.Many sites are grassy and open, some tucked in our woods, others along a treeline and directly on the river - we offer something for everybody.Ashuelot: a Penacook word meaning “place between”; pronounced “ash-WHEEL-ot”. The Ashuelot River flows 64 miles from its origin in Pillsbury State Park to the north and feeds the Connecticut River to our south in Hinsdale, New Hampshire. Also: heated and air conditioned bathrooms! We also have a heated and air-conditioned recreation hall with multiple flat screens and large screen cable TV's - also DVD & VCR players, various board games, a foosball table, a coin operated pool table with all proceeds going to the Maine Children's Cancer Fund, and plenty of room for other group activities.All overnight sites (including most tent sites) have water and electric 20, 30 and limited 50 amps, and most have sewer and/or cable as well. All seasonal sites have phone and cable hookups. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring.The grounds are spotless and well manicured. Enjoy our flower gardens, pruned shrubbery, hand painted birdhouses and the greenest grass around.We have a recreation area with a new play set, a basketball hoop, horseshoe pits, bocce ball & shuffleboard courts and new adult sized swing set! (Kids welcome too). We host various activities in the rec hall such as dances, bingo, card night, karaoke, cribbage tournaments, pancake breakfasts, pot luck suppers and dessert nights. We also have an office/store area with all the basics, and plenty of local dry firewood for your relaxing fire. We are located only 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean with it's lovely beaches, and downtown Kennebunkport, which has great shops, galleries, deep sea fishing and sightseeing excursions, many fine restaurants, and fresh seafood. We are also close to live theater, several golf courses, and various movie theaters. When you arrive we will be glad to book you a table at our favorite restaurants and point you to our favorite things to do and see! A mile off the road, surrounded by woods, Wakeda is a world all its own. Wakeda first “opened its woods” to campers in 1965 and is owned and operated by three generations of the Savage family. Located just 20 minutes from Historic Portsmouth, the Kittery Outlets and beautiful Newburyport, MA, as well as just an hour north of Boston, we’re the perfect vacation home base! Salisbury Beach State ParkSituated along the coast at the mouth of the Merrimack River, the campground offers 484 campsites with water and electric hookups, comfort stations and a playground. Boardwalks provide access to an ocean beach, and two boat ramps on the river assure swimming, boating and fishing fun!The campground offers 484 campsites and one group site with water and 20/30/50 amp electric hookups. An additional group site is available with no hookups. Comfort stations are available with flush toilets and showers. The W street comfort station is accessible. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring and a pedestal grill. Please note there is no shade over the sites. A dump station is also available for your convenience. By the beach, three comfort stations, over-the-dune boardwalks, and a playground and rentable pavilion area make this a popular ocean destination. The Reservation also has two boat ramps that are located on the Merrimack River at the campground's southern edge.
Mt. Greylock Campsite ParkCamp at the Foot of Mount Greylock, the Highest Peak in Massachusetts. Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is a jewel in the Berkshires located at the base of Mount Greylock State Reservation in Lanesborough, MA. There is a reason why this campground has so many old friends coming back and why the new campers are making it a tradition-it's beautiful here. Nature is everywhere, fresh air, tall trees, flowers, squirrels, chipmunks, and an occasional bear!Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is a 47-acre, 110 campsite recreational park that can accommodate tents and RV's up to 40 feet. There are two bathhouses with toilets, sinks, and free hot showers. The campsites are deep and wide and are nestled in the woods, separated by trees and grass. Each RV campsite has water, electric, and grey water hook-ups (grey water cap and hose required). There is no sewer, however, there is a black water station. Honey wagon service is free with extended stays of a week or more and available to others for a small fee. There is a fire ring and picnic table on every campsite.
