Official Tentrr site. Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors.There are three primitive tent sites (Trails End, Tall Timber and Edge of Mountain Trail) at the end of the mountain road. These sites require you to bring your own tent, etc. In the fall the autumn leaves surround you. You are remote. There is a loo with privacy tent for convenience, garbage can and firepit (one complimentary bundle of firewood). You can hike to the site or we can drive you in the side by side.The Glade Site, Creekside and Halfway There are Tentrr Signature Sites that come with a spacious cabin tent with a queen size bed. All you need is your sleeping bags or bedding.If more than 2 people are staying, there's a 6 man tent available for the Halfway There site to accommodate additional guests. You can set it up where you want. There are cots available for cabin tent. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you need the tent so we can set it aside for you.There is a picnic table and firepit/grill on campsite and a loo with popup privacy tent and a solar shower. There is a heater in the cabin tent for those chilly nights (heater provided from Oct 1st thru Apr 1st). Cabin tent is winterized with a rug on floor and insulated rain fly for warmth. Heater takes off that chill.WE HAVE A NEW SHOWER AVAILABLE TO OUR CAMPERS, so after a day of hiking you can rinse off the day.We are a family friendly property. You are on an edge of the remote control crawling trails on the property so if you are an avid RC crawler you have free access to all of the courses for crawling except during an event.or just sit and relax in your own piece of seclusion. The property only has one neighbor that you won't be able to see and we back up to the Foothills Parkway of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (GSMNP).We are located in Wears Valley, TN with quaint antique stores, Alwine Pottery, food and distilleries and wine tasting.We are approx a mile and half from the Wears Valley entrance to the Smoky Mountain National park.We are approx 2 miles from the entrance to the Foothills Parkway with all of it's breathtaking views.We are 5 miles from Townsend, TN (quiet side of Smokies), Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns, River rafting, River tubing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc.We are 8 miles from Pigeon Forge, TN with all of the attractions one could want - rides, eateries, dinner theatres, Dollywood, etc.We are approx 15 miles from Gatlinburg with all Gatlinburg has to offer.

Tentrr is a trusted partner of BookOutdoors.Use Greener Acres campsite as your jumping-off point for fun nearby activities or relax on our 40 acre mountainside property and watch for meteor showers in the clear night sky! Within 5 minutes, you can be at Roan Mountain State Park or drive 5-10 minutes to hike the Appalachian Trail. Head up to Carvers Gap just below Roan Mountain High Knob where you can hop out and enjoy a short walk to a scenic view of both the TN and NC mountains or visit the famous Rhododendron Gardens in season. Campsite also boasts energizing, private hike up to Heaton Ridge.Want to spend the day kayaking or canoeing? Head to Wilbur Lake, about a 30 minute drive away from our campsite. Exploring Laurel Falls is only a 20 minute drive away. Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain in N.C. are about 30-45 minutes away. The Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood are about a 2 hour drive through amazing mountain views. The annual Rhododendron Festival takes place minutes away. Bristol Motor Speedway is about an hour away, an easy drive with little traffic.Supplies can be found at the state park camp store or in town at Redi-Mart or Dollar General. Water is available down by barn via spring-fed spigot. Our John Deere Gator is available for the duration of your stay. Please arrive before sundown so we can meet you the first time you stay to show you the way and make sure you are comfortable driving Gator. We will have you follow us up to the campsite and from there you can come and go and just leave the Gator by your car near the barn when you are out and about and when checking out.A small Bluetti power charging station will be available in the tent (for light charging of cell phones, other) which can be recharged by the barn if used heavily. A full-size grill with one side burner and propane tank has been added to the site along with pots, a frying pan and utensils is also included in the site. Another small propane tank is provided for the radiator in the tent. A 10x10 canopy tent covers the picnic table area next to the cooking area.Public bathroom with shower and toilet are now available by barn. Note: You may hear our lovely blue tick dog, Dolly, or Duke, our boxer-coon mix occasionally. There are also bees making their delicious local honey in a nearby hives on the lower side on the property beyond the barn.
