As you drive up the gravel driveway, you'll pass the family mobile home (our daughter & son attend Clemson Univ) and park in the field. Walk just 30 feet into the woods and you are at the campsite. You are 5 1/2 minutes by car to Starbucks and Waffle House. Only 8 1/2 minutes to Clemson University's Bowman Field. Just 3 1/2 minutes away by car, the Twelve Mile Recreation Area on Lake Hartwell is a great place for picnics, boating, swimming, fishing, etc. Spend the day hiking at many nearby locations.

Beautiful secluded wooded mountain campsites, with seasonal views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The campsites are located within 15 to 30 minutes of multiple state parks including, Table Rock, Lake Jocassee, Lake Keowee, Ceasar's Head, Pretty Place, Jones Gap and Dupont State Forest. Sites are easily accessible from Highway 11, via paved road, campsites are within 200 feet from parking area. There's a centrally located bathroom and shower area, with running water and solar power. We have a covered pavilion, and a large open meadow in the common area. Pavilion features a fire pit and plenty of seating. Amazing observable wildlife, and spectacular star gazing. Before reserving, please ensure that you read all our our site rules and are willing to 100% comply with them. Any rules that are not followed can result in you being asked to leave with no refund. This is a very exclusive camping experience for couples. It will not be very conducive for anyone with more than two people. This is a very calm and peaceful place, and we would like anyone visiting to honor and enjoy all of the peaceful outdoor aspects of the site while taking very particular care of the many new and beautiful things that we have provided for your enjoyment. We expect everything to be left as found and respected. There are 2 sites available: Mama Bear and Papa Bear.IMPORTANT! You must bring your own bedding unless you would like to pay an $20 fee to have us provide bedding for you. Also, this is a camping experience. Through all seasons, it is truly amazing offering plenty of nearby activities like hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and hang gliding. In just 20 minutes you can be in the town of Lenoir or head 30 minutes to Blowing Rock. Both towns offer various restaurants and shops to explore. Near Blowing Rock, there is Grandfather mountain (famous for a mile high swinging bridge). Campers are welcome to hike around the fields and play in the creek. There are numerous walking trails. You can also hike up the Butte Mountain road and stand on our hang gliding launch. The other Tentrr campsite is Wilderness retreat and it's located further up the hollow from Sunrise View. Campers enter the property from the Zacks Fork Road, cross a cement bridge and park parallel to the shipping container. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 1000 feet) to either camp site.
