Lake Moultrie RV Park & Marina

Utilities:

• Tampering with electrical meter, wiring or cabling services is strictly forbidden.

• Wifi services are offered free and as a convenience to our guests. Altering, hacking, unauthorized or illegal use of campground hook ups, such as signal boosters, pigtails and other such devices are prohibited.

• Water faucets and sewer connections are not to be altered in anyway and only approved camping water and sewer connections are authorized.

Guest Personal Responsibilities/Requirements:

Guest will not sublet their RV, RV Parks site rentals or any premises located at Johnston’s Landing Campground.

Guest are responsible for their vehicles, boats, campers and personal property. Johnston’s Landing Campground takes no responsibility for any of the aforementioned items. The RV Campground recommends all guests to secure all their personal valuables.

All RV Park registered Guests are responsible for their family members, guest, pets and children, including their behavior and conduct while at park.

PETS:

• A} Vicious/Aggressive/Barking pets are not permitted.

• B} Exotic Pets are not permitted.

• C} All South Carolina Leash Laws apply to Campground.

• D} All pets must be on a maximum 6’ leash & under complete control of owner at all times when outside of their RV.

• E} Guests with pets are required to clean up behind their pets.

• Failure to comply with pet rules may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Failure by Guest to pay for their camp site or other charges promptly when due or failure to comply with any and all terms and conditions of this agreement shall immediately terminate this agreement and cause forfeiture of guests rights and possibly deposit.

All Guests shall hold the RV Park harmless from any and all claims, costs and damages arising from guest’s use or activity permitted by Guest, including members of their family/party, while in or moving about the RV Park, unless strictly caused by either gross negligence or willful misconduct of the RV Park.

All Guests agree to hold the RV Park harmless from any and all claims, costs and damages caused by the action, activity, breach or fault of guests violating this agreement or the laws of South Carolina arising from any act of negligence, criminal misconduct, careless/willful misconduct or any other action/activity that are not acceptable by either the rules of the RV Park or SC Courts caused by the Guest or their counter parts.

Mandatory Arbitration concerning all disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and in accordance with the American Arbitration Association.

RV Park Rules

All visitors, who are not authorized quest/park employees entering the park must report to main office prior to entering campground areas.

All camp sites must be kept clean and sanitary at all times and all guests shall leave their site in the same condition as received. Trash and other items, not typically found on campgrounds, are not permitted. This includes but is not limited to the following:

A. Construction trailers, boxed trailers, equipment or construction type materials.

B. RV’s with window units, or any type of electrical equipment that is not factory installed in RV, such as electrical or gas operated heaters.

C. Wooden Decks/Porches not authorized by management.

D. Outside storage buildings/containers, freezers & refrigerators.

E. Tarps, plastic, wood or cardboard covering camper roofs, windows, slide outs or any other part of the camper.

F. Ground skirting/covers on campers.

G. Vehicles of any type, not in operating order.

H. Outside trash cans, a trash dumpster is provided for your convenience.

I. Excess fire wood, only enough fire wood for one night is permitted.

J. Leaking sewer and water hoses, campers, boats or motor/electric vehicles

K. Sewer hoses that are not authorized RV sewer hoses.

L. All RV’s must be supported by authorized camper jacks. RV’s supported by cinder blocks, wood, bricks or any other material other than authorized camper jacks is not permitted.

The campground dumpster is for house hold garbage only. Items such as large boxes, appliances, furniture, electronics, gas/electrical operated devices, wooden crates, contaminated and used fluids will not be permitted in dumpster. These items can be disposed of at the county dump site down the street.

All RVs and gas/electrical operated vehicles, including boats must be in good legal standing. Meaning they need to be legally registered, if required, in accordance to South Carolina laws. Campers and motor vehicles must have an up to date registration and a displayed state license plate from either South Carolina or the state the guest resides in. All vehicles are required under SC law to be insured.

Parking/storing items in vacant camp sites is not permitted. Any violation the guest will be required to pay the daily lot cost for that camp site.

Feeding alligators & other wild life is not permitted and is strictly forbidden.

Littering or trashing the lake, its shore lines or its docks is strictly forbidden. Violations can result in fines issued by the Department of Natural Resources, totaling up to $1500.00.

Fish cleaning/processing is strictly limited to your RV site. Fish remains must be properly disposed of in your house hold garbage and placed in dumpster. Fish remains will not be disposed of in lake or in sewer system, doing so is strictly forbidden.

Alcoholic beverages are neither recommended nor suggested by the RV Park. However, guest who desire to consume alcoholic beverages are required to do so within their RV/camp site. Alcoholic beverages consumed outside must be in either a cup or drinking container not identified as an alcoholic beverage. All Guests are responsible for their use of alcohol and acts of public drunkenness or disorderly conduct is strictly forbidden.

The use of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden and SC Law Enforcement will immediately be notified upon its discovery.

The use or display of fireworks or firearms, of any type, is strictly forbidden.

Trespassing on lands/wooded areas surrounding/adjacent to the RV Park, not the property of Johnston’s Landing Campground is strictly forbidden.

All Campers 10 years or older must be approved by management prior to scheduling a stay with and at Johnston’s Landing Campground.

Disturbing noises, music or from outside surround sound systems is strictly forbidden, unless approved by Park Management.

Tampering, of any form, with video surveillance equipment is strictly forbidden.

All park facilities and equipment is intended for the convenience of park guests. The use of these facilities and equipment is done at the guests own risk and consent. The Park and its management and staff are not responsible for accidents caused by fire, theft, wind, flood, and acts of negligence, nature or other unfortunate circumstances.

Guests are limited to 5 persons per-site. Additional guest are $5.00 each per night. All sites are limited to 8 guests.

Pets are limited to 2 per site.

Vehicles (including boats & trailers, golf carts & other gas/electrical operated devices) 2 per site. Must to be able to fit on your assigned site.

Park Management reserves the right to evict or refuse service to any person(s) violating or disregarding any of the aforementioned written rules without refund.

All Park rules, regulations and park fees frequently come under review and are subject to change at the direction of Park Management.
