Ponderosa Campground - Antonito COPonderosa Campground and Cabins provide you with the beautiful combination of pine, aspen and cottonwood trees beside the Conejos River. We have 25 RV sites and 6 cabins. Four cabins have a bedroom, kitchen and bath. Two cabins have a kitchenette and sleeping accommodations. There is a small store, fly fishing supplies and licenses, laundry and clean restrooms. Enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, jeeping, ATVing and hunting. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Train can be boarded in Antonito, Colorado, or Chama, New Mexico. It is the highest and longest narrow-gauge railroad in the North American continent. Enjoy an authentic railroad trip that brings Colorado history to the present day. Drive the Los Caminos Antiguos Scenic Byway which follows the trails of the Spanish Conquerors.

Look forward to a one hour drive from Albuquerque, where you can find a number of great activities, shops and restaurants.Most people visit for the International Balloon Festival, as well as sight seeing the beautiful terrain of the city. The park is also close to the fourth of July mountains and the Salinas Pueblos Missions National Monument. The Salinas Pueblo Monuments are some close sights to go see in New Mexico. There are 3 different ruins to see, one is 8 miles away, another 11 miles away, and the third is 25 miles away.There is an awesome array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs and camping styles that include full 30/50 amp hookups along with family suites and kitchenettes available that come equipped with a coffeemaker, DirecTV, refrigerator, and microwave. We feature back in, pull thru 30/50 amp sewer and water hookup sites! Visitors have access to laundry, restroom and shower facilities, WIFI, and trash services! We have added a garden and are excited to announce that this year, we will have fresh vegetables and herbs for our campers when available. We have also added a small pantry for items that you may have forgotten on your trip. In addition, you will find picnic table and fire pits in our park and we do have firewood available! Given our convenient location, guests are able to enjoy outdoor activities that include kayaking, hunting, tubing, scenic drives and more. Whether it's to escape the loudness of the city or a simply drive by stay, we hope to see you soon!Silver Leaf RV Park is open year round for camping. During Horse Racing season, April 15th to September 15, we are extremely busy and will be giving priority to seasonal stays (all five months) first.
