Encompassing 192 acres, Louisville SRA boasts five lakes and a large floating playground. Campers at this park can fully embrace lake life with seasonal kayak, paddle board, and water bike rentals. Swim, fish and boat during your camping stay; anglers will find bass, catfish, bluegill and crappie in the sandpit lakes. The parks popular floating playground features exciting obstacles including a climbing wall, monkey bars and dome. This seasonal attraction requires a separate ticket which can be purchased on site.This park also features a 1.1 walking loop.Riverview A is located approximately 1 mile from the park entrance and is located near the Platte River. This open-air campsite is the shortest distance from parking and is good for families with very young children who want a quick unload from their vehicle to the site. Your campsite features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit and two Adirondack chairs are also included. There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access modern bathhouses for showers and restrooms at the park but these facilities are some distance from the tent.Riverview B, C, D are located approximately 1 mile from the park entrance and has a view of the Platte River. There is a path around the property that can be hiked in about 45 minutes.Grand Lake is part of the Northeastern Loop of the Oklahoma Fishing Trail and offers some of the best bass fishing around as well as catfish, crappie, and paddlefish. Campers are welcome to bring a bass boat to try their luck. Zena Cove has a public boat launch four minutes away and a secluded swimming hole is a half-hour walk down the hill. Paddle through the quiet coves of Drowning Creek and Woods Spring Branch with kayaks. For those who like a little more action, Mid-America Outdoors is less than 10 miles down the road in Jay. They have a thousand acres of off-road racing and they even offer UTV rentals. If you want civilization, you are 20 miles from Grove, 50 miles from Bentonville, AR to the east, and Joplin, MO to the north.
