For more urban pursuits, visitors can drive just 35 miles to Fairbanks, and visit the ice sculpture museum or meet native Alaskans at Chena Indian Village before relaxing on the beach at Tanana Lakes. Wildlife, scenic and sunset viewing are popular at this campground so if you love photographing nature, this is the perfect camping ground! Klondike RV ParkKlondike RV Park is located one block from the Kenai River, and only 5 minutes from downtown Soldotna in the Kenai Peninsula. The Kenai River is best known for the world record King Salmon caught by Les Anderson in 1985. Visit us between May and August for Kings Sockeye, Pinks and Coho salmon fishing. This family owned and operated RV park has 35 RV sites all with full hookups and can accommodate big rigs up to 60 feet long with slide-outs (50 amp service available). If you are traveling with friends they can stay in our fully equipped 4 person cottage with kitchen BBQ, freezer and washroom.
