Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy applies to full and partial reservation cancellations. If you are shortening your stay prior to your arrival date, otherwise known as a partial cancellation, the cancellation fee applies to the portion of your reservation being cancelled. If you are cancelling your full reservation, the cancellation fee applies to reservation total.

All full-reservation cancellations are subject to a $7 charge in addition to cancellation fee

Full or partial cancellations received more than 30 days prior to reservation arrival date will be fully refunded*

Full or partial cancellations received between 15-30 days prior to reservation arrival date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee*

Full or partial cancellations received between 1-14 days prior to reservation arrival date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee*

No refunds will be given if a reservation is fully or partially cancelled on or after the scheduled arrival date, after being checked in, for late arrivals or early departures, or for no show/no call reservations. Failure to check-in within 24 hours of scheduled arrival date will result in cancellation of reservation without refund. If an extended-stay reservation, failure to complete the extended stay camper rules and regulations form within 24 hours of scheduled arrival date may also result in termination of reservation without refund.

No refunds will be given on reservations staying during the Wisconsin State Fair or the 2023 Harley Davidson Homecoming Event.

Please understand that the RV Park cannot be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, illness, changes in work schedules or any other changes in plans affecting our guests and therefore we must adhere to our cancellation policy.

Rules & regulations

General Rules and Regulations

• Rules apply to all guests including visitors. The rules are for health, cleanliness, legality, and enjoyment of all guests. Please be considerate

• All sites are accessible to persons with disabilities

• Quiet hours are from 11pm-7am daily

• The type of site reserved is guaranteed, not the site number. Site numbers are subject to change, are assigned upon arrival, and pull-through sites are not guaranteed

• A recreational vehicle (RV) is required to occupy a site. A RV includes camping trailers, motorhomes, camper vans, and truck bed campers. RV Park management must approve any RV conversions

• All sites are situated on pavement or gravel

• Any outdoor furniture or other belongings must be kept within the site limits

• Propane grills are permitted. NO OPEN FIRES

• Trailer jacks must have a protective device between the pavement and the jack

• Custom fit RV skirting is permitted during the winter season. Any DIY skirting must be approved by management

• Fuel, oil, flammable liquid, and petroleum gases must be handled and stored in compliance with national and state standards

• Compliance with all Wisconsin State Fair Park Rules, Regulations, Policies and State Administrative Codes, as well as all state laws is required. Failure to comply may result in removal from the RV Park.

• The RV Park business address cannot be used as a guests’ primary or permanent address

• Guests may receive mail or packages at the RV Park office at their own risk. The RV Park is not liable for lost or stolen items

• Reservations may not be transferred to another person

• Please exercise good judgement if you decide to leave your children at the RV Park without supervision. You are responsible for their welfare and are liable for their behavior

• The facilities (bathrooms, showers, and laundry) are for registered RV Park guests only

PERMITS/CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:

• All guests must check in by stopping by the office or picking up their arrival packet from the after-hours arrivals mailbox prior to setting up

• All guests must have a reservation or make a reservation prior to occupying a site or setting up

• Guests cannot move from their assigned RV site to another RV site without prior approval per State Administrative Code SFP 2.10(5)

• Check-in begins at 2 pm. Check-out is at 11 am on the final day

• Permits must be displayed and visible to Wisconsin State Fair

Park personnel

• If an RV is on a site after the permit has expired and the guest is unable to be contacted, the RV will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense

• Early check in or late check out may be available for a $10 fee. Check with RV Park staff regarding these arrangements

• Failure to check-in within 24 hours of scheduled arrival date will result in cancellation of reservation without refund PROHIBITED: the following behaviors or items are prohibited, and any violation will be cause for immediate eviction without refund

• Disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, drunkenness, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive, or vulgar behavior.

• Drug Possession or Use – Illegal drugs are prohibited on State Fair Park property. Person(s) caught in violation of this rule are subject to arrest. If you observe illegal drug use at a site, you are encouraged to notify our Police Department at 414-266-7033. Any information you report will be confidential.

• Engaging in activities that disrupt other campers. Examples include, but are not limited to: walking through other campsites, excessive dog barking, loud music at any time, operating a device that makes excessive noise, etc.

• Occupying a site without a current reservation – including after checkout time on scheduled departure date

• Fireworks, fire pits, and open fires

• Discharging of firearms

• Hose splitters (Per City of Milwaukee sanitation codes)

• Tent camping

• Entering any building or area closed to the public or restricted by sign

• Destroying or defacing trees, plants, natural features, or structures of Wisconsin State Fair Park

• Performing mechanical, welding, electrical or any other work of this nature on site

• Destroying, defacing, removing property and/or theft of others in the RV Park.

• Soliciting business or distributing property such as business cards to others in the RV Park

• Washing recreational or motor vehicles

• Washing dishes or dyeing hair in RV Park facilities

• Having “For Sale” signs on any items or vehicles

• Use of dumpsters for anything other than household trash (such as furniture, tires or building materials)

• Leaving trash outside an RV or in an RV site

• Drilling or staking anything into the pavement - weights must be used to hold down items.

• Use of a generator – except during the Wisconsin State Fair or other large events when approved by management

General Rules and Regulations

PETS AND OTHER ANIMALS:

• No pets are allowed in showers, restrooms, lobby, or laundry room except for known and registered service animals

• Owners are responsible for proper and immediate removal and disposal of their pets’ waste

• Pets must be on a leash (8 ft. or less)

• Pets cannot be unattended while tethered on a leash or in a pen outside your RV

• Pets cannot be left unattended in your RV if they disturb other guests while away

• Pets must be controlled in a manner that does not endanger or disturb other campers. This includes uncontrolled and excessive barking at any time

• Aggressive pets that attempt to attack or bite a person or another pet will not be permitted to stay in the RV Park

• Horses and other livestock are not permitted in the RV Park. The only exception is Police Mounted Patrols

PARKING:

• Recreation and motor vehicles must be parked within the limits of the assigned site and cannot overflow into other sites or drive lanes

• If there is an emergency water shut-off valve on the ground in your site (marked in blue with a cone over it), it MUST be accessible at all times for a 6’ tall tool. Guests will be required to re-position their RV if it or any slide outs prevent access.

• One motor vehicle and one RV is permitted at each site. An exception for a second motor vehicle may be made, at management's discretion, if it fits within the site limits

• Types of vehicles and trailers permitted vary and are subject to management's discretion

• Recreation and motor vehicles must be currently registered and in good condition visually

• Motorhomes must be maintained in a mechanically sound, drivable condition. Trailers and fifth wheels must be accompanied by a vehicle that is maintained in a mechanically sound, drivable condition and that vehicle must be able to tow the camper

• Additional vehicles or trailers, including visitor vehicles, must be parked in designated parking areas, if available

VEHICULAR TRAFFIC:

• ALL vehicles shall operate only on roads, parking lots and similar areas designated for their use. The Racetrack is off limits to all vehicle traffic except for the annual State Fair or a specific event

• ALL golf carts, UTV and ATV must have a Wisconsin State Fair Park Cart Permit. Check with RV Park staff for directions on getting a golf cart, UTV, ATV permit

• ALL unlicensed vehicles such as trail bikes, minibikes, off road vehicles, snowmobiles and dune buggies are prohibited

• ALL vehicles operated in the Wisconsin State Fair Park are subject to the State of Wisconsin motor vehicles codes, State Administrative codes, and Rules of the State Fair Park Board.

• Please observe a speed limit of 5 mph within the RV Park

REFUSE/TRASH AND LIQUID WASTE:

• Refuse/trash must be placed in designated dumpsters, located throughout the park

• All liquid waste must be contained in proper holding tanks and deposited in specific sanitary dumping stations

• NO liquid waste (including gray and black water) may be poured or leaking on the ground

• Dumpsters in the Park are for personal/household trash only. Furniture and building materials are prohibited

• Leaving trash outside an RV or in an RV site is prohibited

• Sites are to be kept clean and orderly. Personal belongings are to be kept inside your RV

• Guests must clean up after themselves when using the facilities such as the laundry room, bathrooms, and shower rooms. The facilities are available for use by all registered guests - please be considerate

• If the facilities need attention, please notify the RV Park Staff
