With over 80 acres that include a half mile of wild scenic White River frontage, the park also features a campground with electric and water hookups and a bathhouse, picnic area, playground, and open air and enclosed shelters. Also available is an 8 mile loop hiking trail connecting to the North Country National Scenic Trail. White Cloud, Michigan is located about an hour’s drive north of Grand Rapids, Michigan. White Cloud is delighted to be recognized as a Trail Town and serve as your base for enjoying the North Country National Scenic Trail in Newaygo County and the lower Huron-Manistee Forest.

Policies
Park Policy

  • Holiday and Special Events Cancellation: Cancellations for reservations that include a holiday or special event are non-refundable. There will be no exceptions. In addition, modifying holiday or special event reservations to other weekends will not be permitted.

  • Non-holiday Cancellations: Cancellations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $25 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations cancelled 10 or less days in advance will be charged the $25 cancellation fee and two nights camping fees, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.

  • 21-Day Cancellations: Cancellations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $50 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations cancelled 10 or less days in advance will be charged a $100 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.

  • Seasonal Cancellations: Seasonal cancellations made on or after the beginning of the season are not eligible for a refund.

Vehicle Permit Required
All vehicles are required to have a valid Newaygo County Park's motor vehicle permit ADHERED for park entrance.
Daily Permits are $7.00
3-day Permits are $21.00
Annual Permits are $35.00
Regional Recreation Pass $60.00

Visitors / Quiet Time
All visitors must leave by 10:00 PM.
QUIET HOURS are in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and are enforced.
Generators are not allowed to operate during quiet hours.

Cabin and Campsite Users
No pets are allowed inside cabins at any time.
Cabin Check In time is 3:00 PM and Check Out Time is 1:00 PM.
