Wander Camp’s cancellation policy allows a guest to cancel their reservation without penalty and for receipt of a full refund up until 7 days prior to their arrival date.

Bookings cancelled after the 7-day window has passed will not be refunded.

Wander Camp reserves the right to cancel a reservation, at any time, should accommodations become unavailable or deemed unsafe due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In these instances, a fully transferable credit for a later stay or a full refund will be issued.

COVID-19 – guests requesting to cancel a reservation due to a positive COVID test, pending submission of a copy of the test results, will also be offered a fully transferable credit to be used for future dates.

Refund Policy

All refund requests are subject to review by our payment team and will be handled on a case-by-case basis; however, the following are non-negotiable reasons and requests will be automatically denied.

– Changes in daily rates after a booking is confirmed.

– No-show.

– Early departure (i.e. choosing not to stay after checking in or shortening the length of stay).

– Late arrival (i.e. arriving after reception hours or past your original arrival date).

– Inclement weather (see Weather Conditions for specifics).

– County/Statewide Restrictions (i.e. fire bans).

Wander Camp Hosts are expected to address all guests concerns at the time of occurrence. If for any reason during a guest’s stay an issue or concern occurs, guests are asked to contact their Camp Host or reach out to our administrative team via phone in order to help find a solution where possible.

Rules & regulations

Terms of Occupancy

The following tent types and suggested guest occupancies are available for a stay at Wander Camp.

– Twin Tent – 2 Twin Beds – 2 adults

– King Tent – 1 King Bed – 2 adults

– Tripe Tent – 3 Twin Beds – 3 adults

– Family Tent – 1 King Bed & 1 Twin Bed – 3 adults

Requests for alterations to the above tent configurations will not be approved, including, but not limited to additional bed or changes in bed types within the tents.

Rollaway beds and additional bedding are not available; however, guests are welcome to bring their own bedding, such as blankets, pillows, etc. or sleeping arrangements such as sleeping bags, cots and air mattresses for additional guests to occupy available floor space within the tent.

All Wander Camp properties include free-standing, large canvas bell tents which are not permanently a-fixed to the land, without decking, and placed directly onto the natural terrain. We are a temporary campground set-up for a specific season and all staying guests are required to have a booking for our tents ONLY. Wander Camp is not a public campground meaning occupancy of guests including, but not limited to, stay in tents, RV’S, camper vans, etc. are not allowed on the premises and should trespassers be found they will be subject to the daily rate of stay at Wander Camp or asked to leave immediately.

Bathroom Facilities

All Wander Camp properties are temporary locations for a specific season and operate completely off-grid without electricity or septic service. That said, shared portable bathroom facilities are provided which include RV flush toilets and sinks as well as free standing showers, with with low pressure water. Note, water temperatures vary depending on the current temperatures and hot water cannot be guaranteed.

In confirming a booking with Wander Camp, all guests are agreeing to the usage of shared portable bathroom facilities throughout the duration of their stay. Bathrooms are available for use by ALL guests and cleaned daily. It is the responsibility of all guests to clean-up after themselves, disposing waste appropriately and leaving the bathroom ready for guests coming in after them.

Wander Camp is not responsible for the conditions of the bathrooms during guest usage and following cleaning hours. Bathrooms which are deemed in-operational due to cleanliness issues or malfunctioning parts will be labeled as OUT-OF-ORDER and are not to be used. If a guest has concerns with the operation or cleanliness of the bathrooms during their stay, it should be immediately addressed with their Camp Host.

Pet Policy

Wander Camp welcomes pets and requires a $20 / night deposit which is nonrefundable and should be added at the time of booking. If a guest arrives with a pet and has not added the deposit to their booking, a manual charge will be made to the credit card on file by our payment team. Guests are responsible for their pet during their time at camp and no pets are to be left in the tent unattended.

Upon departure, should any evidence found of a pet being in the tent in which a pet deposit was not made, the previously booked guest will be subject to an increased pet deposit fee of $25 / night which is nonrefundable and a manual charge will be made to the credit card on file by our payment team.

Guests with pets are expected to control their animals while around any other guests and should any valid complaints by other guests be made during their stay, the guest with the pet may be asked to leave the location.

Weather Conditions

Wander Camp accommodations are available RAIN OR SHINE! Weather conditions including, but not limited to, changes in temperature (hot or cold), thunderstorms, snowstorms, etc. are not approved reasons for late cancellations or refunds In the event of weather deeming the conditions at camp to be unsafe, a notification will be sent to all guests with the appropriate information.

County and/or Statewide Fire Restrictions may occur which can prohibit the use of fire at camp. Wander Camp will do our best to inform guests ahead of arrival should these

restrictions affect operations at Wander Camp; however, we cannot be held liable for informing guests in advanced as it is the responsibility of all arriving guests to make themselves aware of any current updates in the proximity of their travel destination.

We advise all guests to plan ahead and pack accordingly as this is an immersive outdoor accommodation and experience, after all, none of us can control mother nature!

Check-In & Check-Out

Guest’s are welcome to camp starting at 4:00 pm (MST) on their arrival date and required to leave camp no later than 10:00 am (MST) on their departure date. Early check-ins are subject to review by our team and must be requested at least 24-hours prior to their arrival date. The check-in process is done virtually and requires all guests to use an access link to confirm arrival to camp. The access link and additional details for Check-In & Check-Out will be provided via email 7-days prior to the arrival date on the guest’s booking.

At the time of virtual check-in, guests are confirming their stay at the booked Wander Camp location and will be held responsible to all terms & conditions herein.

Prior to check-out please ensure all bedding is atop of the bed – pillows, sheets, blankets, etc. in addition to all tables, chairs and any add-on items provided being place INSIDE of the tent. In the event any provided items are missing at the time our housekeeping team arrives, the following fees will be processed depending on the missing item(s).

– Bedding – up to $100

– Chair(s) – $100/unit

– Side table – $50/unit

– Decor item(s) – up to $100

– Heater – $100/unit

– Fan – $25/unit

Security Deposit

Prior to guest arrival, we require the collection and authorization of a credit card to be received for a refundable security deposit. * Inability to authorize this deposit will result in cancellation of the guest’s reservation. A hold in the amount of $100 will be placed on your account throughout your stay and will be released following check-out pending no damages were incurred during the guest’s stay. If damages are incurred, Wander Camp reserves the right to collect the security deposit in full by charing the full amount to the card on file.

Food, Drink & Recreational Smoking

Food, drink and smoking is not allowed inside of tents at Wander Camp due to the potential of attracting unwanted wildlife. Food and drink should be consumed outside of tents ONLY and stored inside of vehicles or animal-proof containers.

Alcohol is ALLOWED, but we ask all guests to drink legally and responsibly. Smoking of legal substances is permitted in designated areas ONLY and will not be allowed if a fire-ban is in progress at the time of stay.

Guests are required to pack-in/pack-out by taking all trash with them or disposing of it in the available trash receptacles on site upon departure. In the event our housekeeping team finds any evidence of food, smoking or in a guest’s tent after departure, a fee of $30 will be manually processed by our payment team.

Add-On Items/Adventures

Additional items, including pet deposits, are available for purchase at the time of booking or can be added/requested prior to arrival. Add-ons must be booked at least 24-hours prior to guests’ arrival dates.

At the time of purchase, payment is authorized and the request will be sent for review by our Inventory Team, approved requests will be finalized for payment; however, denied requests will release any pre-approved payment authorizations. *All add-ons are non-refundable.

Lost & Found

Wander Camp’s Housekeeping Team will keep any personal items left behind at camp for a maximum of 30-days and it is the responsibility of the guests to reach out to our team to request whether or not a missing item was found.

In the event an item has been found and is requested within the 30-day period, our team will happily ship the item at the owner’s expense (covering associated shipping fees). All items not requested within 30-days will be either discarded or donated appropriately.
