WALES WEST is the name of a popular RV resort, campground and railroad theme park located in Silverhill, Alabama. The park attracts RV travelers and campers in search of mild winters and a central point from which to explore the Gulf Coast. The park's name (and inspiration) derives from the narrow gauge railways that still serve remote areas of Wales in Great Britain. On those "light railways", the locomotives and cars are smaller, and they run on a "narrow gauge" — the distance between the tracks is 2 feet instead of 4 ft. 8½ inches for a standard railroad. At various times throughout the year Wales West plays host to special events. It has been a longstanding venue for live bluegrass music. Spaces will accommodate any size RVs. Amenities are extensive and include heated pool and all hook-ups.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
All deposits are Non-Refundable. 30-Day deposits are held until the end of your stay and used to settle electricity and other accrued charges. NO refunds or credits for early departure.
Rules & regulations
Rates are based on a 4-person occupancy. Each additional person is $6.00 per night daily, $30 per 7-Day rental.
Pets must always be walked on a leash and cleaned up after. Outside pet tethers are permitted so long as the pet is not creating a disturbance.
Wales West reserves the right to refuse camping to RV’s that are not in good repair or unsightly.
All guests are expected to observe park rules and regulations.
A responsible adult must supervise children at all times and in all areas of the park.
