General Rules

Please help us make your stay with us a pleasant one by following a few rules as detailed further below, for your safety and comfort. In addition, please note that fires can only be built in grates provided or your own grill. Approved firewood only. No vehicle or RV washing is permitted. No clotheslines will be allowed at any time. Please observe our 6 mph speed limit and watch for children.

Pet Policies

Your pet is a part of your family and is welcome as such, but please take note of the following rules: Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners. Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles or rental units. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended. Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations. All buildings and the pool & playground & mini-golf area are off limits to pets. Please clean up after your pet.

We don't exclude Pit Bulls; Rottweilers or Dobermans, but they are not allowed in the off-leash K9-Dog park. Also, all rules above also apply to these breeds and are strictly enforced.

Dates Open

Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA Holiday is open for the season from April 1st - October 31st.

Check in and Check out times

Check out or re-register by 11 AM.

Check in is 1 pm for all tent and RV sites. For cabins, deluxe cabins, Woody Tent and Tipis, check in time is 3 PM.

Office & Store Hours

At our KOA, the store and office hours change from season to season. Please verify current hours posted at store/office doors:

• Main season from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September: 8 am to 8 pm

• April to Memorial Day Weekend: 8 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm

• After Labor Day Weekend until end of season: 8 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm

Please note that the hours can be shortened during weekdays in the off-season (March/April and October/November), with a door bell or phone number to contact for assistance.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM.

Laundry

Laundry is open 24 hours. The laundry is located in the same building as the office.

Pool Hours

Our swimming pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend only. The pool hours are 9 AM to 8 PM or dusk - whichever occurs first. Please note for the safety of our guests, the pool will close if any thunder or lightning may occur. No lifeguard is on duty. Children under 14 must be accomplished by an adult. No large rafts permitted.

WIRELESS INTERNET

Our internet is free of charge. You will be given login information during registration. While we do our best to constantly upgrade and improve the internet service, please be aware, that the speed and signal strength is limited - depending on how busy our campground is. Online streaming and watching movies is usually not possible. Please don't rely on the internet for business matters. No refund or discounts can be granted, in case of slow or unavailable internet.

Firewood Policy

Build fires only in grates provided or your own grill. Firewood may be purchased in the store.

Propane Gas

Please note that propane gas is only available during office/store hours. Please plan ahead, so you don't run out when the store is closed. There are several gas stations and other vendors available in town, should you need a refill outside of the store hours. No dispensing after dark allowed by Utah Fire Marshall.

Tent Policy

Tents are permitted in designated tent sites or the group tent site only. A small 2 - 3 person tent is allowed at an extra fee on our 4 Deluxe Patio Sites. Otherwise, tents are not allowed on RV sites. If staying on a tent site for multiple days, we will let you know when we are watering your site. Watering your site is required for maintenance and it may require you to move your items off the grass.
