Formerly the site of Verdiersville Tavern who's claim to fame was a House of Entertainment for the Accommodation of Travellers. The area saw heavy military action and troop movements in the Civil War. This campsite is situated on the edge of a field, providing great wooded views. Replace the bustle of busy roads with the sights and sounds of nature. You can drive up to our campsite to unplug and relax, however 4x4 may be recommended in adverse weather conditions. Clear nights provide incredible views of the stars above. Verdiersville Tavern is secluded enough to escape reality, but just a short drive to Edwards General Store, Unionville Brewing, and many Civil War era landmarks. We are in the perfect location to visit historical landmarks and visit some of Virginia's best wineries!
