Lake Almanor is 52 square miles at an elevation of 4,500 feet surrounded by magnificent pine and fir trees. The summer water temperature is approximately 70 degrees, perfect for that day of swimming or skiing. Our daily average temperature rarely gets over 90 degrees all summer long!!
Stay at the cleanest, quietest, friendliest camp on the lake, while enjoying trophy fishing, water sports or just relaxing. In camp you will find BBQs, horseshoe pits, a laundromat, clean rest rooms and showers, boat launch and dockage, lakefront picnic areas and swim area (plus a monthly "Big Fish" contest).
Park is close to fine restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Spectacular sunsets and view of Mt. Lassen are yours to enjoy. Spend some time hiking or mountain biking the many trails in our area. Take a trip to majestic Lassen Park and enjoy the inspiring volcanic scenery. Or visit the Caribou Wilderness area, land of a thousand lakes. A great place to hike and enjoy the wildlife.
