    Twin Lakes Camp Resort is situated on a peninsula of 18 treed acres of beauty in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Come enjoy the tranquil setting and the views offered by Holley Lake and King Lake on either side of the property.     We currently have 61 Full Hook-Up RV Sites, 3 of which are Buddy Sites. For travelers without an RV, Twin Lakes Camp Resort can accommodate you with 5 Luxury Cabin Suites, 9 Glamping Tents, 3 Tiny Homes, and 2 Lake Houses for larger groups.

    With 3,500 linear feet of waterfront on King Lake and Holley Lakes and 12 docks you will find plenty of space for fishing, launching a boat, or just relaxing. We have electric boat and kayak rentals for fishing or just having a nice time on the water. Our beautiful bath house, laundry facility, and activity center are yours for play or gatherings.

    The mild sounds of Nature are far enough off I-10 so you won’t hear traffic. We are the perfect Northwest Florida location for a serene family vacation, an “Off the Road” stop over, a quiet getaway, or a staycation close to the beach.

    Cancellations

    • There is a “Reservation Fee” for making all reservations. We will honor holding a RV campsite or Rental Accommodation for you based on your making a reservation. The “Reservation Fee” is not refundable, not changeable, nor transferable. The amount will apply to your reservation when you arrive.

    • If you do not cancel before 48 hours of your arrival date for your reservation then you will be charged the full amount of your stay (because we could have rented to someone else). If you cancel before 48 hours the “Reservation Fee” will not be refunded or applied to another date.

    • The amount of the “Reservation Fee” will depend on the type of unit you are renting. A one night stay for an RV site will be for the full

      amount of that site. A longer RV stay will be a $50 “Reservation Fee”, and a Rental Accommodation will be a $100 “Reservation Fee".

    • Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds or credits of any kind. In the event of hurricane related evacuations, refunds will not be issued.

    • All refunds are determined solely by the Twin Lakes Camp Resort management. Requests for refunds under emergency circumstances must be provided in writing by email with proof of emergency circumstances. By making a reservation you agree to this policy.

    Rules & regulations

    Check-in / Check-out Times

    • Check-in for cabin suites and glamping tents is 3:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am.

    • RV sites check-in is 12 noon and check-out is 11:00 am.

    Pet Policy

    We are glad you were able to bring your pet with you this trip! And we hope you have a pleasant stay with us! However, not everyone has a pet or cares to be around others’ pets. For these reasons, we ask you to observe these conditions:

    I do hereby indemnify, hold harmless and release Twin Lakes Camp Resort and all related parties from any and all causes of action, claims, lawsuits and demands of any kind made by any guest or third party as a result of any actions of my pet(s). In addition, if any action is brought as a result of any action of my pet(s), Twin Lakes Camp Resort will immediately notify me of the claim and demand indemnification for all costs arising from the claim, including attorney fees, from me, the pet owner. Service dogs are subject to the same rules and fees as non-service pets without discrimination. I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE:

    • Not to take my pet in any buildings other than rental units that are specified as “pet friendly”. Pets in “pet friendly” suites are to be no more than 2 pets under 40 lbs. and are subject to a fee.

    • Any dog with a history or behavior of aggression will not be permitted

    • Not to leave my pet outside unattended at anytime unless in crate in the tent, not barking

    • Not dogs allowed on people beds any time

    • To pick up after my pet disposing of my pets waste properly. I will not leave it or bury it. I will look for one of the two Mutt Mitt stations in order to dispose properly.

    • To keep my pet on a leash at all times, including while in my campsite.

    • To keep my pet from being a nuisance or hazard to others.

    • I declare that my pet(s) has never shown a vicious nature and has never bitten anyone.

    • As a guest, I do hereby register my pet(s) as being under my care and take full responsibility for their actions.

    Other

    • No driving vehicles (Personal cars/trucks) on the dam ever ($500 fine)

    • Use temporary parking to Unload and Load

    • Use pull carts Return them to end of Dam at end of stay

    • Golf Carts may available from the office

    • Be cautious of the natural environment dangers

    • No Fish in the drink cooler (smell can’t be removed, if you do you must purchase cooler)

    Fire Pits

    • Follow instructions on posts

    • Never leave fire unattended

    • Always cover pit if raining & when fire is finished

    • Do not dump ashes in woods ever

    • Use pale for ashes

    • Do not put fire pit near woods

    Groups

    • Some sleeping arrangements can be moved

    • Adults shall supervise children

    • All park rules need to be followed

    Wheel Rules

    • RIDING OF BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS, GOLF CARTS, ATVs or ‘OTHER’ to be determined by TWIN LAKES CAMP RESORT Management is NOT PERMITTED AFTER DARK.

    • For the safety of all our guests, especially the children please abide by the following:

    • Operate all wheeled vehicles in a safe manner. All golf carts, ATVs, motorcycles shall be operated only by persons with a valid driver’s license. Drivers shall be self-insured. Motorized vehicles shall follow all traffic rules and regulations and travel in the ONE WAY direction as indicated by traffic signs Please obey the 5 MPH speed limit. NO driving in grass or on sidewalks. Park in designated parking areas only. Put bicycles in bike rack. ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING BICYCLES, SCOOTERS AND SKATEBOARDS.

    • ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED WITHIN YOUR SITE OR IN THE DESIGNATED OVERFLOW PARKING.

    • SUITE GUESTS ARE ALLOWED 2 PARKING SPACES PER SUITE. ANY ADDITIONAL PARKING WILL NEED TO BE IN OVERFLOW PARKING DESIGNATED BY MANAGEMENT.

    Boat Launch and Boat Trailer Parking

    • Only registered guests of the campground are allowed to launch a boat from Twin Lakes Camp Resort boat ramps.

    • Boat must be launched and vehicle and trailer must be moved to designated parking.

    • Only electric motors are allowed to be used on or near our access to Holley or King Lake.

    • Anyone over the age of 16 must have a Florida Freshwater Fishing License to fish from bank or boat.
