Twentynine Palms Resort

Thank you for visiting our Resort. The following rules have been established to provide an environment that is conducive to our guests’ enjoyment of the various services and facilities provided at TwentyNine Palms Resort. It is a brief summary of the Rules and Regulations. If you would like a complete set of the Rules, please request a copy from the office or if you have further questions or suggestions, please contact the front office. Regrettably, failure to abide by these rules will result in the termination of your visit – without a refund.

WARNING: High voltage lines are buried throughout the park. DO NOT bury any poles, stakes, stands, etc. without first consulting the front office. Septic tanks are buried along the wall on Amboy Road behind sites 153 – 197. DO NOT place any items on the empty space between the sites and the wall. DO NOT bury any poles, stakes, and stands in this area!

NO CAMPFIRES Open fires are not allowed in the park. Organized campfires by the shuffleboard courts are coordinated by the Activity Committee during the Winter Season.

BBQ There are BBQ grills located at every cottage and common areas next to the pool and horseshoe area and near site 98. Tables are located on most sites. Charcoal is on sale at the store.

BICYCLES Bicycles are not allowed in the buildings and need to be equipped with lights if ridden after dark. Please secure them when storing them on your site.

CABLE Some sites in the Resort are wired for cable service, which needs to be arranged with the local provider. For more information contact the Office.

CAR/RIG WASHING Washing of RV’s and vehicles is not permitted.

CHECK OUT Checkout time is 11 a.m. for Cottages and Noon for RV sites. However, we encourage you to extend your stay! Please register at the Resort Office by 10 a.m. if you are staying longer than anticipated.

CLUBHOUSE Various functions are held at the clubhouse primarily during the winter season. Please check the Resort Calendar for the dates and times for special events exclusively for Resort guests.

COMPUTER & PRINTER A computer and printer are provided for guest use in the Office/Store. The Store is also a Wi-Fi Hot Spot.

COPIES FAX Please check with the Resort Office for these services.

COTTAGES The Resort has fully furnished one and two bedroom cottages for rent. Please check with the office regarding availability.

DOG RUN A large dog run is provided at the east end of the Resort. Please pick up after your dog and make sure the gate is closed when you leave. Pets must be on a leash when walking through the Resort and you must clean up after your pet!

ELECTRICAL The Resort accommodates 30/50 amp electrical usage. Higher amps are not permitted.

FACILITY CODE A code is provided to all guests who stay at our resort. Please do not give this code to anyone.

FITNESS CENTER The fully equipped work out facility is open to Resort Guests with the access code provided at check-in. It is advised for your health and the health of other guests that you wipe down all equipment before and after use and use a towel when sitting on the equipment. Turn off machines before leaving the area. For safety reasons children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the fitness center.

GUESTS Overnight visitors of Resort Guests must register at the front office. There may be a guest fee.

HOLDING TANK CHEMICALS Do not use preparations containing formaldehyde in holding tanks. Placing this in our septic system causes serious problems. We have the correct type of supplies in the Resort Store.

LAUNDRY The laundry facility is for Resort Guests and is open for use anytime with the use of the access code provided upon check-in. The Resort Office has change for the machines and the store sells laundry detergent. Please do not leave laundry unattended.

LAUNDRY LARGE LOAD SERVICE We also offer large load laundry service. See the front desk for more information.

LIBRARY Enjoy the games and books in the Library located in the laundry facility and game room. Our Library is Take One Book and Leave One Book.

MOTORCYCLES Licensed motorcycles are permitted in the Resort only when entering or leaving the Resort and not for use within the park. Excessively loud motorcycles must be walked in and out of the Resort!

NO SMOKING Smoking is prohibited in all buildings including cottages, all facilities, pool, and spa areas.

PARKING Two vehicles may be parked on the RV space – an RV and a vehicle (car, truck, boat, etc.). If additional parking is needed parking spaces are available for a nominal charge. Please see the office for accommodations.

PETS The Park welcomes well behaved pets, with a limit of two per site. Persons with aggressive pets may be asked to remove the pet from the park. Please keep all pets on a leash at all times. Pets can be walked to and from the dog run or outside the park. Pet droppings must be cleaned up immediately. All pets must be licensed and inoculated in accordance with local law. No exterior pet housing is allowed. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or other common areas unless they are Service Animals. Pets are not allowed in cottages.

POOL RULES The Pool is open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is no lifeguard on duty. We recommend tat children be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. Rules are posted in the pool area. Please do not apply lotions and creams before entering the water, wear swimsuits; no street clothes or hairpins permitted. No running in the pool or spa areas.

PROPANE SALES Please check in at the Resort Office for propane tank refilling. Propane is sold seven days a week.

QUIET HOURS Please be considerate of your fellow guests by observing quiet time between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

RESTROOMS The men’s and women’s restroom facilities include showers and are open 24/7 as long as you have the access code. PLEASE clean up after yourself!

SAUNA/SPA The Sauna and Spa are open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. These facilities are kept at high temperatures and are not safe for children under the age of 14 years or the elderly. We recommend that children be accompanied by an adult when using the spa and sauna.

SIGNS are not permitted on the RV sites, with the exception of “For Sale” signs not exceeding 18 inches in width and 12 inches in height.

SITE UPKEEP It is required that you keep your site clean and uncluttered at all times. Large furniture items, visible storage, trash cans, etc., are not permitted. For more details or questions please contact the front office.

SPEED LIMIT The speed limit is posted in the park. Thank you for observing the 7.5 MPH speed limit and for coming to a full stop at all stop signs.

STAMPS We sell domestic and international stamps along with other office supplies up in our front office!

STORE The Resort Store stocks items every guest needs – a quick meal, RV repair equipment, paper goods and lots of fun novelties and information materials. Be sure to read our list of 101 things to do while visiting!

TRASH We offer trash pickup daily if your trash is tied up and placed in front of your site by 9:00 a.m. There are dumpsters behind the tennis courts available to you at any time. NO LARGE items (furniture) or toxic materials are allowed in the dumpsters. For closest dump site call: 888-905-8898.

WI-FI Free Wi-Fi is available at Resort Hot Spots located in the Office/Store and Game Room. From time-to-time the Wi-Fi service is interrupted for a variety of reasons including weather and excessive usage by guests – as an example, using SKYPE or other applications that take excessive bandwidth. Ask for the code from the office. Some sites can hook up to local providers.
