Located in Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, GA. Amicalola Falls State Park is located at the southernmost point of the Appalachian Trail and possesses Georgia’s tallest waterfall.
Each glamping tent features a residential-style heating and air conditioning unit, ceiling fans, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, lamps, essential oil diffuser, table and 2 chairs, and comfy beds with all of the linens provided. You will need to provide your own towels. Central Bathhouse with 6 private restrooms and 4 private showers is a short walk from the tents. Free laundry machines on site.
Choose to relax at your glamping site with included amenities like a wood fire pit, charcoal grill, hammock, string lights, 2 outdoor chairs, and picnic table, or take part in recreation opportunities like hiking, zip-line, and archery. There are a variety of hikes available within the park for all experience levels of hikers, including stroller and wheelchair-accessible trails. Explore the nearby towns of Dahlonega, Ellijay, and Dawsonville (all about 15-30 minutes away), go river tubing, panning for gold, or visit the area's renowned wineries.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
Guests who move or cancel their reservation more than 30 days in advance of check-in will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Guests who move or cancel their reservation 15-30 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund.
Reservations are non-refundable or transferrable to a new date 14 days or less of your check in. You can instead gift your standing reservation to a friend or family member.
Timberline Glamping Co has multiple locations, owned and operated separately. If you would like to move your reservation to another location, you will need to cancel your original location and rebook at the new location. We do not have the ability to transfer reservations to other locations. Cancellation policy will apply.
Rules & regulations
Checkout time is 10:00 a.m.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Unreasonable or excessive noise at any time is prohibited. We reserve the right to ask rowdy or disruptive guests to leave early with no refunds.
Smoking is prohibited in or around Timberline Glamping accommodations as well as the campsite. The guest agrees to pay $750.00 for smoking in or around the Timberline Glamping accommodations. This policy is STRICTLY enforced.
Garbage should be deposited at the trash receptacles placed throughout the campsite. Due to bears in the area, do not leave any food out. Food should be stored in a refrigerator or cooler.
The campground restricts parking to 2 vehicles per campsite. There is no room for additional vehicles.
Max occupancy per campsite is 6 persons.
We love our furry Glampers! Just let us know ahead of time. There is a $45 pet cleaning fee per pet that is charged to each guest bringing dogs if we are notified ahead of time. Failure to do so will result in a $150.00 fine. Pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 10 feet in length. Pets shall not be left unattended in any Timberline Glamping accommodation unless properly crated. The guest is financially responsible for all damage caused by their pets.
Fires must be confined in a designated fire ring or grill. Only dead wood on the ground may be collected for firewood. No chainsaws can be used.
