Located on 18 private acres in the Lassen National Forest, The Village at Highlands Ranch is located just 10 minutes from the Lassen Volcanic National Park south entrance and visitor center, and just a few miles from reaching the peak of Mt. Lassen at 10,457 feet. The Village offers comfortable accommodations in the 19-room inn, 24-space RV park with 7 pull-thru and 17 back-in sites, and 7 tent camping sites with picnic tables and fire pits, along with equestrian camping for those traveling with their four-legged friends.
At 5,000 feet, our property in Childs Meadow offers breathtaking views of Lassen Volcanic National Park. During the summer, take in the quiet mountain breeze or enjoy a crackling fire with family and friends. During the winter, you are steps away from cross-country skiing or snowshoeing right out your front door at the inn. Experience a cosmic art show of stars painted against the dark mountain sky any time of the year!

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
If cancelling more than 14 days before your reservation you will receive a full refund. If cancellation occurs within 14 days there is a 10% cancellation fee. Within 48 hours, no refund.
If cancelling OR shortening you stay less than 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date there is NO REFUND.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
Rules & regulations
The Village RV Campground is a private 18 acre campus with amazing views of Lassen Volcanic National Park and surrounding meadows. We have 22 full service RV sites (30 & 50 amp), and 7 tent sites available for your enjoyment. The Village Store is open 8am-6pm daily Mid-May thru Mid-October.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow ATV's or other motorized recreational vehicles in the RV Park /Campground.
Check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If arriving after 6pm, please check the site bulletin board on the porch of our campground store. We will leave your info and site number for you.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Pets are welcome in the campground/RV portion of The Village. We charge $2.00/day per pet. Please pick up after your pet. We have "doggy stations" located throughout our park for your convenience. Pets are not allowed inside of any buildings.
For safety reasons, we prefer no glass containers inside the RV park/campground.
Campfires are allowed in the fire pits provided only.
Please remember that along with the beauty of the mountains and meadows, wildlife also live near us. Be aware of your surroundings and take precautions.
