Lincoln and Amy Vestal joined the Colorado Cooperative Company in 1900. Lincoln was heavily involved with the company as president, a director, general manager, and superintendent. They made their home on their acreage on Tabeguache Park in anticipation of the irrigation ditch. They eventually sold their property to the Town Improvement Company. The Vestal property was the most scenic and logical area to build the town. Owners throughout include Mary Buckley, Margaret Galley, Lee and Imogene Fagan, and John and Mary Helen deKoevend. Mr. deKoevend had plans to build a restaurant on the property. Halfway through the construction a medical issue forced him to abandon the project. The restaurant remained unfinished. Left was a brick shell. Christopher and Aimee bought the property in 2017 and renovated the property to what it is today.

Cancellation Policies:
Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception for it. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate your paying attention to the following:
Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. We take great pride in preparing for your arrival.
If you cancel prior to the 14 days, you will be refunded the $20 deposit.
Should you need to cancel within 14 days of your arrival, you will not be refunded the $20 deposit.

CHECK IN/OUT
Check out time is 11am. If you need a later time or a place to store your belongings, please let us know.
Check In time is 3pm. If checking in later please call ahead to make arrangements with an innkeeper.
PET POLICY
Well behaved, vaccinated dogs only. $10 per stay fee.
OWNER RIGHTS
Vestal House at Tabeguache Park is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Any missing keys, damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling with the guest.
