The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch is an all-inclusive, upscale riding and horsemanship guest ranch limited to approx. 22 guests weekly with a 6-night stay. All guests arrive on Sunday and leave Saturday morning. As you can read from our guest testimonials, we offer a very personal, small, and intimate experience. We care deeply of our guests, staff, horses, and land.
The Hideout is in beautiful Shell, Wyoming East of Cody, and Yellowstone National Park at the foot of The Big Horn Mountains. With a backyard of 650,000 acres in an area with tremendous diversity of scenery and altitudes ranging from 4,200 to 13,100 feet, you will seldom see the same trail twice. Since its beginnings, The Hideout has always been an exceptionally clean, organized, and well-maintained guest ranch. It is one of the reasons many of our repeat guests return year after year.
We are not your typical dude ranch. We are a small guest ranch with approximately 25 guests each week, because it is important to keep our guests’ experience personal. Our guests leave The Hideout feeling as though they are not guests, but family.

Booking Details
Guest Cabins
Western-style log cabins, built in 1992, are decorated with excellent furnishings in warm colors and are kept sparkling clean and well maintained. Emerald green lawns surround these five duplex cabins, which are connected to the main lodge, other cabins, hot tub, and swimming pond by well-lit, paved pathways.
Cabins come with:
• Modern bathroom with shower
• Choice of King sized bed and sofa, or two queen size or double beds All cabins come complete with a loft.
• Air-conditioning and heat
• Wireless internet, flat screen cable TV, and phone with complimentary long distance within the United States
• Guest handbook and complimentary snack basket
• Mini-fridge – complimentary soda re-stocked each day. Complimentary bottle of wine (Extra wine, beer and liquor may be purchased in the gift shop).
• Nespresso coffee maker and condiments
• An outside porch with rocking chairs
Guest cabins are cleaned daily and sheets are changed midweek.

Hideout Homes
The Hideout Homes are western-style log homes decorated with the highest of standards in mind. The luxurious Hideout Homes feature two master suites with oversized bathrooms, walk-in showers, private decks and fully-equipped designer kitchens with granite counter tops and hardwood floors. You can relax in the open concept living room near the fireplace while looking through the panoramic windows with incredible views of the Bighorn Mountain Range or head out on the terrace, with its beautifully designed fire pit.
Site Specific Amenities
Casitas
The Casitas are one and two-bed bedroom cabins, and they are just a short walking distance from the Main Lodge. They are located in a two-story, four-unit log building with back porches overlooking the orchard and Shell Creek. Your view guides your eye toward Shell Canyon and the spectacular Bighorn Mountains beyond.
The Casitas are complete with:
• Modern bathroom with shower
• King-size bed and sofa
• Air-Conditioning and heat
• Wireless internet, and phone with complimentary long distance within the United States
• Washer and dryer
• Guest handbook and complimentary snack basket• Mini-fridge, complimentary bottle of wine (Extra wine, beer and liquor may be purchased in the gift shop).

2 of The Casitas have one bedroom, a living room with sofa and kitchen.
2 of The Casitas have no kitchen, but instead one main room with a king bed and sitting area and a second separate bedroom with a queen size bed.
The Casitas are cleaned mid-week, and sheets are changed mid-week. The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch caters to your every comfort.

Policies
Group Reservation: A 30% deposit remains refundable up until 90 days prior to check-in date, with a penalty of $350 booking fee per person for the cancellation. 89 days prior to check-in date, the deposit becomes nonrefundable. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check-in date and is non-refundable. The group cancellation policy is effective as soon as 50% or more of the original group reservation cancels.
