The Forks Resort, located on Bass Lake, in the Sierra National Forest, is only fourteen miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park and eight miles from the southern end of the Golden Chain Highway through California’s Gold Country. The Forks Resort has built a reputation as a traditional family vacation spot. Family owned and operated for four generations, The Forks has provided quality and consistency year after year to their customers.
The Forks Restaurant, home of the famous “Forks Burger”, offers the finest in family dining. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring homemade soups, chili and dressings, served in the original “50’s Diner” setting.
The modern cabins, accommodating two to eight persons, are located near the lake, most with lake views. One, two and three bedroom units with kitchens and baths are available. The kitchens are fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils for your convenience. Fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming in Bass Lake are just outside your cabin door. There are numerous hiking trails and two golf courses nearby.
The general store is well-stocked with familiar brands of groceries, drug sundries, souvenirs, sporting goods, fishing tackle, propane, gasoline, ice, boat and mooring rentals.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
The full balance is due at the time of booking. Notice of cancellations must be received 60 days prior to your arrival date and are subject to a $50.00 non-refundable reservation fee. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than sixty (60) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your cabin(s), a full or partial refund will be made less the $50.00 cancellation fee.
Rules & regulations
The Forks Resort welcomes well behaved dogs up to 50lbs, limit two per room. There is a nonrefundable $50 cleaning fee per pet for the duration of Guest’s stay. Pets must not be left unattended in the room and must remain on a leash when outside the room on Forks Resort grounds. Guests are responsible for all damages and or personal injury caused by their pets, and any room that is left excessively dirty will be subject to an extra cleaning fee. The Forks Resort reserves the right to charge the Guest’s account for all damages cause by their pet.
