Taylor Park Trading Post was established in 1940. Our cabins, RV park, and restaurant overlook Taylor Reservoir, a 2040 acre mountain lake that is deep, clear, and full of fish!
Breathtaking views you will find nowhere else!
Every year, we welcome back returning guests, renewing their reservation for the next year!
There are all kinds of activities that can be engaged in just outside your door. We are located in the Gunnison National Forest. You can simply walk out your cabin or RV door, hop on your ATV/UTV and ride off to any of the hundreds of miles of trails that await you. No need for the hassle of trailering your rig to the trails.
You can even walk to the lake or trout streams if you wish, you're that close! Speaking of trout, below the lake dam is a Trophy Trout Fishery!
While you're getting away from the rat race, you can still stay in touch if you want to. There is a cell tower on our property.

House rules for a happy stay
Policies
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations after deposit is made up to 30 days prior to reservation will result in forfeiture of a "deposit fee". Cancellations within 30 days of your reservation are not eligible for any refund.
Parties will be held responsible for entire reservation unless cancelled as stated above. Early departures may be eligible for refunds on a case-by-case basis depending on availability, time of year, and/or reason for early departure.
Rules & regulations
Pets:
ONE PET MAXIMUM FOR EACH CABIN. Your pet is more than welcome in our cabins! Pet fee is $30 per night. Please declare it at Check-In or at your booking time. Pet must be leashed at all times when not in cabin! If there are any undeclared pets there will be a $250 per day cleaning charge. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CABINS 33 AND 34 : THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED
