Cancellation and Refund Policy

There is a $25.00 processing fee associated with all Cancellations.

CAMPING RESERVED NOT DURING A FESTIVAL

Reservations cancelled more than 14 days in advance of 10:00 AM (local time) of the first night’s stay will be refunded the entire camping fee less a $25.00 processing fee by a credit issued to the cardholder who made the reservation.

Reservations cancelled between 13 days and 7 days in advance of 10:00 AM (local time) first night’s stay will be refunded one-half of the camping fee refunded less a $25.00 processing fee by a credit issued to the cardholder who made the reservation.

Camping fee reservations WILL NOT be refunded if cancellation occurs less than 7 days in advance of 10:00 AM (local time) of the first day of the reservation. No refund or credit will be given for early departure once a camper has checked in.

CAMPING RESERVED DURING A FESTIVAL

Cancellation and Refund for Festival & Events

The camping fees for reservations during music festivals music festivals are non-refundable. All sales are final. There are no exceptions. Event is rain or shine. Additionally, this policy applies to campsites that are reserved for the entire week that the festival takes place (Sunday prior, through the end of the festival).

Management reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time, without notice. If you have any questions regarding these policies, or require additional information, please contact us.

Rules & regulations

These rules are a special, legally binding contract between the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park ®, its employees, members and guests, and control the duties and responsibilities of all Park visitors. §513.117, Fla. Stat. By entering the Park as a guest, you acknowledge that you have read and will abide by these rules. Because of the tremendous popularity of music festivals and other special events, special rules (in BOLD TYPE) apply. If you violate any of these rules, you may be ejected from the Park without a refund, be subject to civil or criminal proceedings, and/or permanently banned from the Park.

ADMISSION TO THE PARK: Guests must check in with the Park Office or Gate Attendant upon first arrival, and pay an admission fee (additional fees apply for overnight stay, activities, services and events). You may be required to display a vehicle pass or sticker on your vehicle. Special event guests must present a ticket, along with a valid photo-identification and wear a non-transferable wristband for the duration of the event: if you lose it you must buy a new ticket. Additional camping fees may apply depending upon your arrival and departure dates, and where you camp.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, physical disability or creed. If you require a special accommodation due to a disability, please let us know in advance, if possible, or upon check in. Service dogs must wear an identification tag with your name and phone number, and a current anti-rabies vaccination tag at all times. It is a criminal offense to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. §413.08(9), Fla. Stat. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under age 18. We can refuse services to any person who displays intoxication, profanity, lewdness, brawling, whose conduct disturbs the peace or comfort of others, who damages property, who engages in illegal or disorderly conduct, whose conduct is a nuisance, or who violates any of these rules.

TRAVEL: ALWAYS yield to pedestrians – they have the right of way! If children or crowds are present, use extreme caution. The maximum speed on paved roads is 10 miles per hour; and on dirt roads and in camping areas is 5 miles per hour.

All motor vehicles must be properly licensed and insured. All operators must be over age 16, properly licensed and insured. We will refuse entry to any motor vehicle in our sole discretion. All vehicles are subject to search upon entry, and at all times while in the Park: if you do not consent to a search, then you must leave the Park immediately with no refund. All-terrain vehicles (ATV’s), off-road utility vehicles (ORV’s), recreational utility vehicles (RUV’s), dirt or motocross bikes, go-carts, and dune buggies are not allowed. Driving Under the Influence or “DUI” is not tolerated — You may be arrested by law enforcement officials and taken to jail if you are observed to be DUI in the Park, regardless of the vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, or automobile you may be driving. Texting while driving is strictly prohibited regardless of the vehicle, golf cart, bicycle or other means of transportation. No loud amplified music may be played from any vehicle.

Golf carts are a popular and convenient way to get around: operators must adhere to the Park’s Golf Cart Policy. Rentals are available at the Country Store. If you bring your own, you must register your golf cart upon arrival, present proof of registration and insurance, have your cart inspected, pay a trail use fee, and obtain a sticker. Golf cart drivers must be licensed and over age 16. The driver and passengers must be seated at all times during operation and the cart’s seating capacity may not be exceeded. Headlights and taillights must be used from dusk till dawn. Golf carts must stay on designated roads and trails and must be parked at your campsite by Midnight. (During special events golf carts should be parked at your campsite no later than one-hour after the last scheduled concert ends). Trail fees during special events are non-refundable.

Bicycles operated from between dusk and dawn must burn front and taillights. Children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet per §316.2065, Fla. Stat.

Horses are welcome in the Park’s horse camping area and on marked horse trail areas, with advance reservations. Horse owners must check in and present proof of a negative Coggins test, along with other required health certifications. Horses are not allowed on roadways, in camping areas, or anywhere outside of the horse camping area and marked horse trails. No riding at night. A horse that kicks must be identified by a RED ribbon tied on its tail. No “tie outs” are allowed. See office for details. Horses are not allowed in the Park during special events.

Segways, skateboards, and hoverboards are not allowed.

Shuttle service may be offered during special events; if you ride the shuttle, you assume all risk of doing so; and you must remain seated when the shuttle is moving.

PARKING: You must park vehicles and golf carts in designated areas only. You may not park on any roadway or in camping space that you have not rented. You may only park in a designated disabled parking space if you display a valid disabled license plate or rearview mirror tag. The Park is a designated “TOW AWAY” zone, and if you park in a prohibited area, your vehicle may be towed at your expense. §715.07, Fla. Stat

CAMPING AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES. Hundreds of improved (water/electric) spaces are available, in addition to thousands of primitive (tent) camping. There is a special area set aside for Park members. Check out time is Noon. A maximum of 6 campers (including children) are allowed per space. Only one RV may be parked per campsite. No camping is allowed on the disc golf course. All vehicles must be parked on the campsite, and not on roads or other campsites. Water is not to be used for washing RV’s, cars or boats. Campsites must be kept clean, and trash and refuse regularly placed in trash containers. Please do not leave food out where animals and insects can get it. All RV’s that connect to the sewage system must use a “donut” to seal the sewer hose to the sewage system line. All sewer connections must be kept tightly capped when not in use. Paid RV campers may use the dump station. The dump station wash down water is not safe for drinking. Any spills of sewage must be reported immediately to the Park Office. Do not remove the back flow prevention devices from the potable water lines. Do not alter, even temporarily, any RV site electrical connections.

All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site: actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park’s sole discretion. Except during special events, we apply a cancellation and refund policy for paid, advance camping reservations. If cancelled more than 14 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel between 14 and 3 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Failure to cancel at least 3 days prior to the first night’s stay will result in no refund. During special events, improved camping fees, trail fees and campsite fees are non-refundable. Guests purchasing a single-day event ticket are not allowed in any camping area. Members who have made reservations for any day that is included in a special event, must purchase tickets for the event no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event or the reservation is void.

Several bathhouses are provided for campers. We need your help to maintain these facilities in a clean, sanitary condition. If a bathhouse is dirty or lacks required soap, toilet tissue and paper towels, please notify the Park Office immediately. Do not flush sanitary napkins, diapers, paper towels or other large objects down the toilet. Please help us conserve water.

CABIN AND FACILITY RENTALS. The Park has a variety of cabins (park models), pavilions, and buildings available for rent. Prices vary by type, season and whether or not a special event is scheduled. Check out time is 11:00 A.M. A key deposit is required, which will be refunded at checkout. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in all cabins and other Park structures; there is a $100 cleaning fee if anyone has smoked in your cabin during the rental. Do not remove towels or furniture from cabins for outdoor use. All non-member reservations must be paid in advance at the time of the reservation. Although each reservation contains a site number, this does not guarantee use of any specific site within the Park. Actual sites will be assigned upon arrival, and site selection is subject to Park discretion. Except during special events, we apply a cancellation and refund policy for paid, advance camping reservations. If cancelled more than 14 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel between 14 and 3 days prior to the first night’s stay, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Failure to cancel at least 3 days prior to the first night’s stay will result in no refund. Most cabins do not allow pets: violation of this prohibition will result in an additional $200.00 cleaning fee plus $25.00 per day payable when pet is observed in cabin. During special events, all cabin and facility fees are non-refundable. Guests purchasing a single-day ticket are not allowed in any cabin.

ENJOYING THE PARK: Please respect the environment, and do not harm plants or harass animals. Do not place any nail, screw or other fastener into any tree, or cut any vegetation. Do not litter. Please do not smoke or vaporize (“vape”) in buildings, including rental cabins; and be respectful of others when you light up or vaporize. Place properly extinguished cigarette butts in ashtrays. The Park maintains a quiet time between 11 P.M and 8 A.M. This applies to speakers on golf carts and cabins. During some festivals, jam sessions and drum circles may last until the wee hours with due consideration of those camping nearby. Please respect fellow guests by not passing through their campsites. Picnic tables are provided by the Park at some spaces; please keep them clean and free of clutter when not in active use. During musical and Park-organized fireworks performances, please be advised that you may be exposed to loud sounds, and please take whatever action you deem necessary to protect your hearing. The use of high-quality ear protection is strongly recommended, available at the Country Store.

A disc golf course, children’s playground, hiking trails, picnic tables and other amenities are available on a first come, first serve basis; please share them with other guests and help keep them clean and free of clutter.

CAMPFIRES: If weather and other prevailing conditions are acceptable to the Park, properly contained campfires are permitted in enclosed fire rings or in small dirt fire pits. No bonfires or large fire pits allowed. Do not collect, or cut, live trees or shrubs. Do not burn treated wood, plastic, garbage or trash. If you do not bother other guests, you may collect downed tree limbs from nearby areas. Fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished before leaving unattended. Never use gasoline, kerosene or other accelerants to start fires. Firewood and fire starters are available for purchase at the Country Store.

ANIMALS: Some pets (dogs and cats only) may be allowed. Upon check-in, proof of current anti-rabies vaccination is required for all pets. All pets must wear an ID tag with the owner’s name and phone number. Pets should never be left alone. All pets must be kept under control on a leash no longer than six (6) feet at all times. You must pick up your pet’s droppings and dispose of them properly. Excessive barking, aggressive conduct, or failure to keep the animal on a leash will require you to immediately remove the animal from the Park. Pets are not allowed during special events and festivals.

Service dogs are allowed in public areas of the Park whenever the Park is open to the public; however, service dogs must be either leashed or under the owner’s control at all times, and must display proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination. “Emotional support animals” are not service dogs. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. During special events and music festivals, service animals must be registered upon entry to the Park and must wear the festival credentials at all times, along with proof of a current anti-rabies vaccination.

SWIMMING AND WATERSPORTS: Next to the Spirit Café, there is a small pool. No lifeguard is on duty. You may swim at your own risk, after getting a pool pass at the Park Office. Children must be potty trained and accompanied at all times by an adult. No diving or roughhousing. You must shower before entering the pool. No glass allowed in the pool area. The Suwannee River, which runs along the north and west boundary of the Park is dangerous and unpredictable. Floating logs and debris are common. Swimming is not recommended. No lifeguard is on duty. If you do swim, it is at your own risk. Do not swim across the River to private property, climb on the bank or use any rope swing – all very dangerous and grounds for immediate ejection from the Park. Do not remove towels from cabins and take them to the river or pool. The Canoe Outpost, which is not owned by Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc., offers rental canoes, kayaks, and personal floatation devices. They can offer guided trips or outfit your River trek. All persons using the services of the Canoe Outpost are advised that all activities are at their own risk and that travel on, or swimming in, the Suwannee River is dangerous and unpredictable. To that end, all Canoe Outpost patrons must complete and sign the release, hold harmless and release of liability form. The boat ramp is available for a fee; however, no airboats, jet boats, or personal watercraft may be launched. All water sports are at your own risk.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: No illegal drugs. No fireworks of any kind. Guns, Tasers, slingshots, BB Guns, Paintball guns, bows and arrows and all weapons are strictly prohibited on Park property, and that includes weapons carried in motor vehicles (even if you have a concealed weapons permit): ONLY properly- authorized law enforcement and security personnel may carry weapons when on duty. All of the airspace above the Park is restricted and no person is authorized to operate or use any type of aircraft, drone, radio-controlled airplane or helicopter, kite, Chinese lantern, luminary, sky lantern, fire balloon, Kongming lantern, balloon, or other flying object; except that Frisbees, footballs, and other similar toys may be used when they do not present a danger or nuisance to other guests. Of course, flying discs may be used on the disc golf course. Lasers of any type are prohibited. No bounce houses, slip n’ slides, portable swimming pools or other recreational attractions are permitted. No fire spinning or twirling is permitted without a written contract with the Park.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES: The posting or distribution of any advertising or literature; or the sale, distribution or solicitation of any product or service is only allowed with advance written approval of Park management. No nudity or obscene gestures or speech. No commercial services may be ordered by any guest to be performed in the Park; however, check with the Office if you need a locksmith, tow truck, taxi or Uber, Lyft, or other service.

MESSAGES/FIRST AID/ LOST & FOUND: Urgent messages may be available in the Park Office. In case of emergency, call 911 immediately! Report any problem by stopping by the Park Office or by calling the office at (386) 364-1683. EMS/FIRST AID IS AVAILABLE DURING SPECIAL EVENTS. If you are injured while in the Park, you must promptly report such injury to the Park Office in person or by phone. If you lose something, please check at the Park Office. If your personal property has identification with your address and contact information, we will try to contact you to have you claim it. Any property unclaimed after 90 days becomes the Park’s property. §513.115, Fla. Stat. If WI-FI service is offered, use is subject to the Park’s sole discretion.

CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS: If you enter the Park, you consent to the recording, publication and use of your likeness, and/or voice on videotape, on film, or digital video disc, or other means, without compensation to you, or a signed release from you, for the Park’s commercial and marketing use forever and anywhere.

Special Event and Festival Ticket holders are subject to, without limitation, the following additional terms and conditions:

  • No refund will be given on lost or stolen tickets or wristbands or of unused tickets. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Tickets that are lost, stolen, counterfeit or obtained from sources other than Park or any of its ticket outlets will not be honored.
  • All tickets are non-refundable and do not bear any cash value.
  • It is unlawful to obtain/attempt to obtain admission by fraud. Any such admissions/attempted admissions will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law.
  • Wristbands are nontransferable and must be worn by the same person for the entire event.
  • Vendor, Promoter and Park-issued staff and complimentary tickets are non-transferable when issued.
  • Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission and/or revoke any ticketed admission without refund.
  • All guests under age 18 must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • No food or beverages may be brought into the venue areas; however, please check the Festival brochure to see whether or not you may bring in a new, unopened plastic bottle of water or an empty water container. NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the venue areas.
  • No weapons, laser devices of any kind, drones, model airplanes, fireworks, luminaries, megaphones, or any other items determined dangerous by Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. may be brought into the Park, or in a motor vehicle within the Park.
  • Management will be allowed into all venue areas and campsites.
  • All artists and times of performances are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.
  • No unauthorized commercial video or audio recording or live streaming allowed in venue areas.
  • Management reserves the right to at its sole discretion to refuse admission to or to eject any person from the premises whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly, vulgar or abusive, and/or who fails to comply with park policies and procedures. Failure to comply will terminate any rights of ticket holder and will be removed from premises.
  • Ticket holder agrees to comply with all State, local and Park rules that prohibit and limit alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons, controlled substances, recording devices, cameras, pets, and containers being brought into the Park or venue area.
  • The Park reserves the right to search all persons and vehicles anywhere at any time.
  • Cancellation of the event by Act of God, strikes, riots, or any other act/order of any public authority beyond the control of Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. does not obligate Management to offer ticket refunds or substitute performance(s).
  • All outdoor performances are “rain or shine.”
  • Cornett’s Spirit of the Suwannee, Inc. and/or any of its management, officers, directors is not held liable for any personal loss, injury, death, property damage, or any other harm suffered by participants, vendors, lessors, artists, guests, or spectators at any special event.
  • No advertising signs, posters, banners, balloons or flyers of any kind may be posted or distributed anywhere in the Park.
  • No goods or services may be offered or sold except by Park-authorized vendors.
  • No fire spinning, twirling, koi or other use of performance fire is allowed.
  • No selfie sticks, flagpoles, wookie sticks, totems or other rigid decorations are allowed in venue areas.
  • No spray paint or paint markers are allowed in the Park.
  • No flammable gases such as nitrous oxide are allowed in the Park.
  • No water guns or other simulated or toy weapons are allowed in the Park.
  • Bicycles and scooters must be parked outside of the venue areas.
  • No segways or other motorized devices are allowed in the venue areas.
  • Smoking and vaping only allowed behind soundboard in venue areas.
  • If hammocks are allowed in venue areas, they must not block pathways or be double stacked. Hammocks can only be tied to suitably strong trees and all ropes, straps and ties must be removed after use.
  • If chairs are allowed in venue areas, they must be removed at the close of performances each day.
  • Only disabled guests and a companion may use designated ADA viewing areas.
  • Additional restrictions may be imposed by posted signs, Festival brochures, or verbal order of Park staff.
