Let us tell you more

Spend your days exploring the area and your nights relaxing in your private cabin nestled in our village of cozy cabins in the Sierra Foothills. Located just 20 miles from the South Gate to Yosemite National Park and Mariposa Grove, we are a great jumping-off point for excursions into the park, to Bass Lake, or to the beautiful Eastern Sierra Foothills.

Our cabins are situated in the middle of 1,300 acres, just 10 minutes from the mountain community of Oakhurst. Just across the road from the cabin village you will find a former golf course with miles of paved pathways, ponds, creeks and unusual sculptures.

We offer complimentary bicycles to help you explore this beautiful space. Our dog-friendly facilities are the perfect place to take your pooch, and the former golf course is an ideal spot for off-leash runs (with plenty of squirrels and gophers to chase).

In your cabin you will find free wifi, playing cards, books and board games... but sorry, no TVs.

House rules for a happy stay

Policies

Pet Friendly

If cancelling within 14 days of stay, there will be a charge of the first night's stay due to high turnover.

Rules & regulations

Checking in and out

Our check-in begins at 4pm and our check-out is 11am. Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer early check-in or late check-out as our housekeeping staff needs all available time to safely ventilate, clean and disinfect the cabins.

We appreciate your patience as we operate under more strenuous protocols.

Fires

This is a very high fire danger area, unfortunately, which means that wood and charcoal fires are absolutely prohibited here. We take this very seriously and require that you do, too. Propane grills are allowed but must be used on a picnic table or on an asphalt or concrete surface. These are not just our rules but are county laws enforced by local fire and police.

Pets

We allow dogs at no additional charge. Guests must keep dogs off furniture and beds or an additional cleaning fee may apply. Please pick up after your dog in the cabin area. We do not allow any pets other than dogs.

Smoking

Please use the provided ashtrays for cigarette butts as, again, we have very high fire danger here (and butts all over the ground are yucky). Absolutely no smoking of any type inside cabins. If we find that you have smoked in your cabin you will be subject to a $250 additional cleaning fee.

Quiet Time

We value the peace and tranquility that our cabin area offers at night and ask that you move conversations and music indoors after 9pm. Quiet time starts at 9pm and ends at 9am. Many of our guests choose to sleep with their windows open at night and sound carries very well in this area. We appreciate your consideration of your fellow guests during your stay.

Don't Leave Trash Outdoors

Please do not leave bags of trash outside as birds or, worse, raccoons and bears can be attracted to the smell. We definitely don’t want these animals in the cabin area! If you need a trash pickup please let us know via phone, text, or doorbell and we will happily come take care of it for you.

Cabins

All cabins include coffee/tea/sugar/creamers, refrigerator, kettle, pour-over coffee carafe, mugs, silverware, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hair dryer, wine/bottle opener, towels, wash cloths, sheets pillows, blankets or duvets (seasonal), air conditioning, heat, outdoor seating, and 2 dog bowls.

Micro Cabins have robes, shower slippers, and bathroom totes (these items are only provided in these cabins).

Tiny cabins also have microwaves and dorm size fridges.

Family cabins have two burner induction cooktops, pots & pans, utensils, etc. and mid-size refrigerators & freezers.

One and Two Bedroom cabins have two burner electric cooktops and full size refrigerators with freezers.

We have 3 Tesla Chargers in the cabin area and at the lodge, under the solar panels, we have 6 Tesla-specific chargers and 2 generic chargers (these work with Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, Fiat 500e, BMW i3, Kia Soul, Ford C Max, etc.). The Tesla charger runs at 50 amps and the generic chargers run at 30 amps. EV charging is provided at no extra charge for our guests.

We have Pack-n-Plays and high chairs. Just let us know if you need these items and we can put them in the cabin prior to your arrival.
