SETTLERS POINT POLICIES

For the benefit of all guests, please observe these cleanliness and safety guidelines.

RV’s must be 2012 model or newer and if not, must be approved by management for stays longer than 1 night.

10mph Speed limit enforced.

No parking on streets.

Your children are your responsibility.

Your belongings are your responsibility.

Quiet time is 10:00PM to 7:00AM.

No wood burning campfires allowed.

No fireworks.

Please no clotheslines or skirting of trailers.

Paintball and airsoft guns are prohibited.

Only one RV per site and tents are not allowed.

Check in time is between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm (2:00 pm -4:00 pm on Sunday).

Check out time is 12:00 pm.

If you will be needing a late check in, please let us know so we can accommodate you.

RV must be 10 years old or newer, well maintained and in excellent overall condition. You may submit a photo if you need additional clarification.

No parking in empty sites.

Absolutely no guest may wash their RV or other vehicles with on site water. A number can be provided for a mobile wash service that will come to your site and wash your RV.

PET INFORMATION

Each site may only have 2 pets.

Your pet MUST always be on a 6ft leash and under control of the owner when outside.

Ideally, we ask that you take your pet across the street to the dirt south of the clubhouse or east beyond the block wall to take care of their business. For your convenience there is a man gate at the northeast corner near the maintenance building. You MUST clean up after your pet IMMEDIATELY wherever their business is done. For your convenience, there are 7 Pet Stations located around the park. There will be a fine of $25 per occurrence if there is dog poop around your site.

Your pet cannot be left unattended all day. Please consider getting a pet sitter or boarding them for the day. Unattended pets bark and cause a disruption to your neighbors. Loud barking dogs will not be tolerated. While dog owners can seem to tune it out, your camping neighbors find it annoying. We all need to remember, there are families who need to concentrate on homeschooling, or the baby is down for a nap, or a night-shift worker may be trying to sleep next door. With remote work on the rise, it’s difficult to conduct a Zoom meeting with a dog barking loudly right outside the window.

Portable pet fences are not permitted because then your pet is not on a leash. Again, your pet must ALWAYS be on a 6 ft. leash accompanied by the owner. Pets can break free and then your furry friend may be in danger.

Pets are not allowed in the resort buildings and pet gear/bedding may NOT be washed in the resort’s washers and dryers. A $100 fine will be imposed. An off-site laundromat is located on Telegraph Street about a mile away.

Pet must not interfere with the peace and quiet of other guests and are required to be kept inside 10:00 pm -6:00 am.

Settlers Point is not liable for any pet injury. Any guests dogs that show aggression, will be asked to leave the park without a refund.

Violations may be subject to eviction without a refund.

For our guest’s health and enjoyment, we are a non-smoking property. If you must smoke, please do so inside your RV. Thank you for your compliance in this matter.
