Sandy Springs Campground

One room cabin with half bath. There is a large deck with swing, picnic table and extra chairs. Grill and fire pit sit in the grassy area beside the deck. This cabin has some of the best views in the campground! Wake up to the beautiful morning sunrise or foggy river views! The cabin has a apartment size fridge, small microwave, coffee maker and electric frying pan for cooking. Well behaved and well groomed dogs up to two are allowed in this rental. Pet fee is $25 per pet payable on check in. There is NO SMOKING allowed inside the rental.

Nestled in the trees is our maple cabin. Recycled tin on the ceiling and pine on the walls make this space super cozy. There is a twin XL over Queen bed. There is also a memory foam fold out ottoman for extra sleeping space. Small kitchen area with sink, microwave, inversion cooking pan, dishes, utensils and more. There also is a small coffee bar area that you can use for a workspace as well. Air conditioned and a beautiful fireplace provides heat & ambiance. There is a 1/2 bath.

These sites are in our 2nd row back from the river. When there is not someone in row 3 they become pull thru sites. The pull thru is not guaranteed. These also offer an amazing view of the river. We sit high up from the river so you must walk down the boat ramp to access the river. Each site is provided with electricity, sewer and water. Most sites include picnic table and fire pit.

Back row buddy site. These campsites share electric and water with the corresponding back row site. Only available on sites 35-40. You must bring extra hose and electric extension cord if your camper one is short. Most sites require at least 20-25 feet of electric cord and hose. This is approximate. These are the closest sites to the playground or pavilion. They do not have sewer hookups.

Mama Bear Camper

Mama Bear is located on our campground property. It is located behind the shower house. Guests can walk or drive down to the river area. Also have full access to the shower house with laundry, the playground area and any campground events.

Wake up early to see the moon and stars bright in the sky or wait a bit and see a beautiful sunrise. Nestled between the foothills of the Kentucky Appalachians and river bluffs of Ohio, amazing views no matter where you look. This camper is located at the front of our campground. You must walk or drive down to see the river.

Bed linens and towels are not provided in the base rate. If you wish to have bed linens and towels please check the option for linens. It does have a $15 fee and will provide linens for each bed. All of our mattresses are covered with waterproof bug free mattress covers that are sanitized after each guest. If you wish to bring your own bedding please ensure it is bug free. With the linen option, the main bed of the rental will be made, other bedding will be placed in the rental in a storage bag. YOU MUST HAVE linens on the bed, please DO NOT sleep on the mattress covers. If we have found you are sleeping directly on the mattress covers you may be assessed the $15 linen fee.

My “Flair” Lady Motorhome

My Flair Lady is a 29 foot 1997 Flair Motorhome. Parked in campsite 21 she is located on the end of the campground towards the more wooded end of our campground.

As you climb the steps in to the motorhome you find a small chair to the right, straight ahead is a sofa that turns into a bed. If you continue right you will go to the driving area with two captains chairs. Turn left and you will find the galley kitchen equipped with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, double sink, utensils, dishes, pans and stove. On the left side of the galley is a bench dining area that also turns in to a bed. If you continue in the motorhome you will find a shower/tub combo on the left and behind a door is a private toilet and sink area. Straight on in the rear of the motorhome is a private bedroom with a super comfy queen size bed. Flair is a 1997 motorhome that is not perfect but super cute and functional. There is heat and air conditioning in the motorhome. There is NO SMOKING OR PETS allowed in Flair.

Site 40 is a back row or 4th row site. This site is backed up to our open field. Not far from the playground and pavilion area. It is located on the end closest to the road coming in. Each site is provided with electricity, sewer and water. Site includes picnic table and fire pit. We sit high up from the river so you must walk down the boat ramp to access the river. Each site is provided with electricity, sewer and water. Most sites include picnic table and fire pit. This site has an optional buddy site add on. If you wish to book the buddy site behind you must choose the option and it has an extra fee. This option must be chosen if you want to have 2 campers on this site.

These are our back or 4th row sites. These are backed up to our open field or buddy sites. Most have a view of the playground and pavilion area. Most families with small children prefer these sites. They are back in but can accommodate larger campers. Each site is provided with electricity, sewer and water. Most sites include picnic table and fire pit. Paw Paw Cabin

Welcome to Paw Paw Cabin. This cabin has two rooms. The main living area has kitchen, dining and living area. Kitchen includes apartment size refrigerator, microwave, convection/air fry oven, sink, coffee pot, dishes, hot plate, pans and utensils. Dining area has a table with 4 chairs. Living area has sectional sofa with a pull out that makes a full size bed. There is a 42 inch smart tv with dvd player. There is not internet you must provide your own internet to use smart tv options. There is a full bath including toilet, sink and tub/shower combo. The water heater is 10 gallon water heater, should last around 5-7 min for a shower. Bedroom has a electric fireplace on the wall. Queen bunk beds finish out the bed room. There is mini split for heat and air conditioning.

There are two outdoor deck areas. First deck is on the front of the cabin and it faces the rest of the campground area. There is a small table and 2 chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The back deck area is accessed from either two step areas or from a door in the main living area. There is a patio set and propane fire pit on the back deck. Walk down from the deck to a fire pit area.

Sleeps 4 – 6 with two queen size beds and one full sofa bed.

This Beached houseboat is located in our campground. Enjoy scenic views from the wrap around deck. The main deck includes the kitchen area, dining and sofa area. Kitchen is equipped with stove w/oven, full refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes and pans. Dining area includes seating for two at small table area. There is a corner sofa and this area offers the best views out the front of the boat. Pretend you are sailing away on the Ohio river from the original captains chair and wheel! The rear or aft of the boat has bedroom and bathroom areas. The bathroom includes small sink, small toilet and small shower area. The bedroom has a twin bed and twin xl bed. The cabin is located under the main deck. It has low ceilings and a bedroom. This bedroom includes two twin beds and a small seating area. This unique stay is truely one of a kind with the incredible views from our dry docked houseboat! Offers all the amenities of a houseboat minus the swaying of the water. Linens are provided with an extra fee. The extra linen fee includes bedding for the 4 beds and towels. There is NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed in this rental.

These sites are our 3rd row sites. They are back in sites if the corresponding Row 2 site is booked otherwise it becomes a pull through. (Pull through is not guaranteed). Each site is provided with electricity, sewer and water. Most sites include picnic table and fire pit. We sit high up from the river so you must walk down the boat ramp to access the river. These sites offer the best river view. Sites 1-7 are more wide open, while 8-10 have some trees between the site and the river.
