Situated on 129 acres along the shore of 4000 acre Hardy Pond, this park's "Up North" look and feel makes it hard to believe that Grand Rapids is only 45 minutes away. The park offers modern and semi-modern camping with 25 water, sewer, and electric sites, 72 water and electric sites, 28 electric sites and 100 sites without hookups. The campground has 2 bathroom/shower buildings and a sanitation station. There is a large semi-modern group campground for youth organizations, family, church groups, and camping clubs. Also available are picnic areas, large sandy swimming beach, playground, boat launch, and dock rentals. Sandy Beach also includes sites with full hookup, pull through, water views, new camping cabins, and a picnic shelter.

Cabins

Sleeping up to 6 people comfortably, our camping cabins include: two bunk beds, a futon, refrigerator, microwave, ceiling fans, small electric heater, and a folding table with chairs. Outside each cabin has a porch, picnic table, grill and fire ring.

Policies
Park Policy

In an effort to ensure fair distribution of campsites for all of our customers, the following Cancellation Policy is being implemented effective January 1, 2018. Holiday and Special Events Cancellation: Cancellations for reservations that include a holiday or special event are non-refundable. There will be no exceptions. In addition, modifying holiday or special event reservations to other weekends will not be permitted.

HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL $5.00 PER NIGHT AND REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM RESERVATION

2023 Holidays

Memorial Day May 25th – 30th

Independence Day – June 29th – July 6th

Labor Day – August 31st – September 5th

Hot Boat (Sandy Beach Only) September 7th – September 11th

Non-holiday Cancellations: Cancellations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $25 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations cancelled 10 or less days in advance will be charged the $25 cancellation fee and two nights camping fees, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.

21-Day Cancellations: Cancellations received 11 or more days in advance will be charged a $50 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer. Reservations cancelled 10 or less days in advance will be charged a $100 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded to the customer.

Rules & Regulations

Vehicle Permit Required

All vehicles are required to have a valid Newaygo County Park's motor vehicle permit ADHERED for park entrance.

Daily Permits are $7.00; 3-day Permits are $21.00; Annual Permits are $35.00.

Visitors/Quiet Time

All visitors must leave by 10:00 PM.

QUIET HOURS are in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and are enforced.

Generators are not allowed to operate during quiet hours.

Cabin and Campsite Users

No pets are allowed inside cabins at any time.

Cabin Check In time is 3:00 PM and Check Out Time is 1:00 PM.
