Sand Creek RV Park & Campground

Check-In

Check-in 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Prior arrangements must be made if you will be checking in later than 7pm. Please contact us at 435-425-3577.

Check-Out

Check-out before 11 a.m. on day of departure. Please make arrangements prior to

10 a.m. if staying an extra night.

Dark Sky Community

Torrey is Utah's first International Dark Sky Community. Only 18 communities in the world have achieved this distinction.

Our town is exceptionally dedicated to the preservation of the night sky through the implementation and enforcement of a quality outdoor lighting ordinance, dark sky education and citizen support of dark skies. International Dark Sky Communities excel in their efforts to promote responsible lighting and dark sky stewardship, and set good examples for surrounding communities. Therefore no outdoor RV lights and security lights are allowed to be on at night in our park. If your outdoor lights are on in the night we will come to your door to have you turn them off.

Pets

We love pets! Pets may not be left unattended. Animals must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at campsite. Animals may not be tethered to utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees or fences. Animal waste must be picked up by the pet owner or you will be charged a cleaning fee.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.

RV Guests (Pets allowed)

Large area outdoor rugs are prohibited on grass areas. A mat (24" x 24" maximum) is allowed at the base of your stairs if it is not covering grass.

Tent Guests (Pets allowed)

Vehicles (Sandcreek Staff reserves the right to limit additional vehicles per campsite)

All vehicles must belong to a guest. A vehicle that is visiting may park on Sand Creek Road adjacent to the property or is subject to tow at owner's expense if it is blocking our road. Vehicles must not block the road or adjacent campsite(s). Speed limit is 5 MPH.

Visitors

Day or night visitors must check in at the Sandcreek Office.

Children

Parents are responsible at all times for their children’s safety and behavior. Please supervise small children in showers and restrooms, and do not allow children to play in the roadway.

Laundry

Laundry room is open from 8 am to 9 pm but is closed from 11am to 1pm so that we can do our cabin laundry. Please do not hang clothes on lines or trees at campsite.

Smoking

All cabins, RV, and tent sites are smoke free. If you wish to smoke please do so inside your RV or in our designated smoking area on the property.

Thank you for respecting the Utah Clean Air Act by not smoking within 25 feet of our building. If you smoke in your cabin you will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee.

Restrooms and Showers

We have men's and women's facilities available. Due to Board of Health Regulations, animals and the washing of dishes are prohibited in the restrooms.

Septic System

The Property has a septic system. DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING IN TOILETS OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER, NO PAPER TOWELS, HANDWIPES, DIAPERS or FEMININE SANITARY PRODUCTS.

Fire Regulations

Personal charcoal and propane grills are permitted. Make sure your fire is out before you leave your site. Do not light fires in high wind situations. Do not put hot coals in garbage containers. Fireworks are prohibited on Sandcreek premises and on property. Do NOT burn trash in the firepits. If you burn trasn in the firepits or anywhere around your site an appropriate damage / clean up fee will be assessed and added to your reservation at or after check out.

Garbage

Help us stay clean by depositing all garbage in the dumpsters located at the front entrance of the campground. Do not put trash in the recycle bins which are located in the back of the building. Do NOT burn trash in the firepits or anywhere on the property or a damage / clean up fee will be assessed and added to your reservation at or after check out.

After-Hours Assistance/Security

In the case of a medical emergency please contact 911. If you need emergency assistance with something concerning the park grounds please contact us at 435-425-3577.

Trees

Trees, and the shade they provide, are an integral part of an enjoyable Sandcreek experience. However, healthy and well-maintained trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris, such as leaves and branches, especially during windy and/or extreme weather conditions. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result. Please take this into consideration when parking at the Sandcreek. Damage to trees in any way will result in an appropriate damage fee and will be added to your reservation at check out.

Park management is not responsible for loss, damages or claims to property of guests due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause. The management also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Having in possession weapons such as firearms, knives, chains, etc. while outside a personal camping vehicle is not permitted on property. Sandcreek Park closes certain sites and areas of the campground for landscaping and maintenance throughout the season.

Damage to Property

If there is damage to the property an appropriate damage fee will be assessed and added to your reservation at check out.

Liabilities

Guest agrees to assume all responsibility for any accidents, injury or damage that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property), and that the Management and its agents shall not be held liable, or responsible for such injury, accident, or damage. The Management or agent shall not be responsible for injury or accident occurring on the property and guest (customer) agrees to hold the Management/agents harmless from any and all claims and liability of any nature which may arise by reason of the use of these facilities. Customer/Guest assumes responsibility of all guests during the reservation time. Customer/ Guests shall be held liable for repair of all damages/misuse of the facilities. Management will assume no responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ personal property, or injury during the rental period. Items left longer than 30 days will be discarded by Sandcreek RV Park & Campground. Upon check-out, any vehicles left on property will be towed off property and charged to credit card on file.

Security of Personal Property

Guests are responsible for the property, its contents, and themselves during occupancy. Sand Creek RV Park & Campground assumes no responsibility for any acts of theft or vandalism, or other damages to any personal property. This includes personal items left behind in the accommodation at departure. However we will put forth every effort to recover such items for you at your request. Guest(s) agree that no more than the number of persons listed on the reservation agreement shall occupy the premise overnight. If more than the number of persons occupies the site stated, the result will be a loss of the total rate and / or additional charge to your credit card.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE RULES AND POLICIES AS NEEDED.

Your verbal authorization at time of reservation, making an online reservation, payment of money and/or taking possession of the property is evidence of your acceptance of our policies and your intent to use the property as a rental.
