Let us tell you more

Robinson's Cottages was started with one small cabin in 1920 by William Robinson and his wife Shirley. The 7 current cottages are located on property on the bank of the Dennys River, land owned by generations of Robinsons since the 1860's. The camp site was added in 2019 on a bend in the Dennys River.

As of 2014, the cottages are owned and operated by the fourth generation, Bill Robinson (namesake of the original owner) and his wife Teresa. As in generations past, we strive to provide friendly, personal service.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is 2pm or later. Check out is 12pm or earlier.

If arriving after 8pm, please contact us ahead of time.

Is the water drinkable/potable?

Yes. The tap water is pure, tested, refreshing spring water. We participate in the Maine Drinking Water Program.

There is no tap at the camp site, however, you can refill water jugs at the office.

Is there a playground?

There is a swingset, badminton/volleyball net and horseshoe pit. You are welcome to bring bicycles to ride on our dirt road.

Is there a boat for use by guests? Are there life jackets?

There are 2 kayaks, several canoes, and a rowboat for use on the river or pond. Boats are kept near or on the beach. Life jackets hang outside at the office. All are free for guests to use, first-come first-serve. Please return boats and life jackets immediately after use.

Is there wood for the firepit?

Yes, kindling and firewood are provided free and can be found at the site. If you run low on kindling or wood, please let us know.

Is there cell phone service?

Cell service can be spotty. It is definitely better in some areas on the property than others. You can connect to free wifi at RobinsonsCottages or RobinsonsCottages2.
