Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park and Terlingua Ghost Town is all within driving distance. The campground is located on 40 acres right in the heart of Study Butte and all spots have excellent views of Bee Mountain. Terlingua is also a Dark Skies Region with excellent conditions for star gazing. Come visit to fall in love with this little Texas town!

  • Reservations can be changed or moved to a future date before your arrival for no additional fee
  • Peak Season — Must have 30 day advance notice.
  • Off- Peak Season — Must have 10 day advance notice.
  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to your arrival date will be refunded to the credit card given at the time the reservation was made.  There will be a 10% cancellation fee applied to the credit card provided. 
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of your stay will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will not be given due to the discomforts of nature.
  • All rates, specials, terms and policies are subject to change at any time without notice

Rules & regulations

  • Check in is after 1:00 PM
  • Check out is at 11:00 AM
  • Please note: there will be a $25 fee charged if you depart past 11:00 AM) - We can be flexible on checkout time depending on when the next guest is arriving, please just let our office know and we will accommodate you if possible.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • All sites are gravel sites
  • Use of ATV’s, motorbikes, bikes are allowed on gravel roads only.
  • Use of fireworks, or firearms are not permitted in the park
  • Possession and use of any illegal substance is prohibited
  • Fires are permitted in established fire pits only (as long as a burn ban is not in place).  Fires must be completely extinguished when unattended.  Remember - the Big Bend Area is a desert and fires can spread fast out here. Be responsible!
  • Must leave campsite / campground clean upon departure - leave it as you found.
  • Please leave all landscaping as you found it, look but don't touch. (example: digging up desert plants, hanging items from trees, moving rocks, taking fossils, etc). 
  • All outdoor lighting should be turned off when not needed.  Please be respectful of our dark skies.  
  • Washing of vehicle or campers is prohibited.
  • Must check with management prior to putting any stakes in the ground.
  • Generators are permitted at boondocking sites only.  Must be Under 60 decibels. Generators can not be used during quiet hours. 
  • There will be a $25 site cleaning fee if your site is not left as you found it when you arrived.  This includes any trash, sticks or debris, ashes left in your site; or movement of the large rocks that are around plants and utilities.  
  • Any damage to games or other property throughout the park will be charged back to the responsible party.  
  • All personal property brought into the campground is at the registered camper’s risk and campground management shall bear no responsibility for the damage, loss or theft of such property. All campers assume the responsibility of maintaining proper insurance on their camper & personal property. We are not responsible for any damage to any camper or personal property for any reason including an act of God (i.e. wind, lightning, hail, fallen branches, trees, embers that drift onto property, etc.) accident, fire or vandalism.
  • Breaking any of our policies could result in management asking you to leave the property immediately and you would not be eligible for a refund.
