Camp next to the majestic Delaware River in the comfort of a fully electrified and insulated tent. The ultimate romantic getaway is available year round. Site to includes a huge (12x20') open air platform and tarped tent for dining including 12' table with chairs. Great for ALL weather. On a separate platform host provides Tentrr's signature canvas tent including real mattress and in cold weather a wood stove, charming and powerful electric heater, and insulated carpeted floor. Across the road is our 5 bedroom farmhouse lodge, Slumberland at the River's Edge for extra guests or family that prefer indoor living. Can't find your dates? Make contact. We have many other river sites and mountain cabins.

Explore the local communities, shops, and restaurants, ski at Big Bear, bowl the handset lanes of Rohmanns Inn, hike local trails, or relax and read on a superb deck by your campfire or wood stove. In summer watch or join a steady stream of rafters travelling down the river. Or in Fall, winter, and early spring enjoy truly magical isolated times in the valley. Watch the river flow by and embracing a true back to nature experience. It is roughing it -- with all the amenities. Within 10-15 minutes are the towns of Barryville, Yulan, and Eldred where you will find great spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Or try your hand at winter cooking on an open campfire.

Please note: canvas tent features a queen-size bed for 2 people. Additional tents are available upon request for extra guests. Only cell service is through Verizon and even that is not 100% reliable. Please make contact before -- if you have any questions or special needs. Winter camping means boots, shovels, and careful attention to weather patterns. It is a great place to hunker down in any storm, but make sure you have your provisions !

House rules for a happy stay

Policies

Full refund, less booking fees, up to 3 days before check-in. 50% refund, less booking fees, when canceling within 3 days of check-in. 0% refund when canceling after 3pm on the check-in date.

Base booking is for 4 campers regardless of age and is limited to overnight paying guests only. If bringing additional people (including children), please calculate and include at time of booking or contact Campkeeper prior to arrival with final numbers. We understand that plans can change and Campkeeper is readily available to adjust your booking. NOTE: Campers coming to site with more people than registered will be charged double the normal rate for extra guests (80./night vs 40./night). No day guests are permitted without prior approval and will be treated as additional guests. Get your numbers right BEFORE arriving and stay in touch!

Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Water shoes in the warmer months. Consult your camp keeper on all details of site setup. We are here to help and make your trip perfect. Let your camp keeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home.

Note for dog owners: Although well behaved dogs are welcome at all our sites, fireworks from neighboring campsites are common especially on weekends and in the summer. Although these sites are a mile away, if your dog is sensitive to this kind of noise, consider a campsite that is totally remote, or one of our indoor spaces at the farmhouse ! No refunds will be given for issues that we cannot control.
