You can't beat this! Drive right up to this spectacular riverfront campsite in your 4WD/AWD vehicle literally a stones toss from the water, away from main highway, down a scenic private road. Campsite is very well equipped with cast iron cookware, Dishware, silverware, camp towels, dish soap, tea pot, all the things you need and some you didn't even know you needed.

Don't fret about what the weatherman predicts, we all know they are mostly wrong! And there is no need to worry about rainy weather as there are Ritzy Rain Repellers over the camp kitchen, the dining room table and the front porch. Floating raft to fish from or just sit and enjoy the view. New addition is a 6 x 20 floating mat that several people can enjoy at the same time. You can practice walking on water.

Village shopping just 2 miles away, outlet mall, Painted Pony Championship Rodeo, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Lake George and Saratoga all within about 15-20 miles. Horseback riding, golf, hiking, rafting, sandy public beach, all just minutes away. There is cell service, and you are welcome to use my WiFi.

This is a former Tentrr site that earned 95 Five Star reviews.For those that have visited the Riverfront Ritz, there have been some great improvements. The REALLY ROCKY ROAD is now BARELY BUMPY!

Rules & regulations

What you carry in, you must carry out, campkeeper does take care of bagged trash.

Don’t leave out food that could attract wildlife. Do not feed any critters.

Be mindful of any local fire bans and quiet hours.

Keep valuables on you or secured in your vehicle.

Bring fishing gear, don't forget river shoes and bug/tick repellent, tiki torch fuel.

4x4 or AWD with good ground clearance and good tires will get you to the doorstep, decent ground clearance SUV type with good traction tires to within 100 yards, Low clearance (less than 6 inches) a half mile walk, but I can help transport supplies to campsite with my pickup/UTV to help you get settled in and return at checkout to transport your stuff to car.

For ease of use and camper safety, this site features a thermostatically controlled propane tent heater that will keep you toasty all night without having to get up and stoke the fire! Relax in cozy comfort without the hassle of a wood stove.

Campsite is very well equipped with cast iron cookware, Dishware, silverware, camp towels, dish soap, tea pot, all the things you need and some you didn't even know you needed.

Main tent has queen bed with a real mattress. (Bring your own bedding.) There is now another platform with second canvas tent also with queen bed with a real mattress and its own propane heater. This second tent is included in the daily rate. An extra tent is available to set up if needed. Two Coleman cots available as an add on.

For your convenience and enjoyment there is a Coleman Bluetooth speaker, Coleman flashlights, Coleman lanterns, Two Coleman fans all with rechargeable batteries., plus 4 Coleman camp chairs. You can also recharge your cell phones, laptops, anything with a usb charge cord with the Coleman rechargeable batteries.

You won't have to bring your trash home as Camp Keeper takes care of bagged garbage and recyclables.

Two Kayaks, Paddle Board, 2 person kneeling canoe, pedal boat, tubes available for use as extra add ons. If I haven't provided something that you really, really need, let me know and I will see what I can do. I aim to make your stay the best trip ever. Easy to get to, just 8 miles off Exit 18 of I87.

The Space:

Amazing Adirondack Mountain Retreat, secluded among the trees fronting on the Hudson River, keep alert and you may see the bald eagles, deer, geese, turkey and other wildlife that call this home. Close to Lake George & Saratoga in the Adirondack mountains foothills. Perfect romantic getaway or just a place to relax and get away from it all.

Guest Access:

Our campsite is off-the-grid which means no close electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! However, there are Coleman rechargeable batteries that will recharge your cell phones, laptops, most anything that uses USB plugs. There is Cell service.

Your campsite includes a TWO 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tents on raised wooden platforms. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tents, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Adirondack chairs plus Coleman camping chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet. This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in the designated disposal site. There is a real "porta potty" building plus a pit toilet a short walk from campsite for more privacy.

Interaction with Guests:

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While we don't charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
