River Ridge Retreat

River Ridge Retreat is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us to cancel your reservation, per the below policy. Voice messages will not suffice.

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.

If you would like to move your reservation to another date, we do that one time as a courtesy as long as it is done 14 days prior to the arrival date with no penalties.

For Lodging Rentals:

2+ WEEKS NOTICE:

• Refund less $25 cancellation fee or full refund issued in camp credit

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS NOTICE:

• Full reservation deposit forfeited

Refunds/Prorating - No prorating or refunds for early departures.

GENERAL RULES

1. Fees are payable at the office during business hours. If you wish to stay another day or request late departure, please check with the office to make sure no incoming reservations are assigned to your site.

2. No more than 1 vehicle permitted per reservation (cabins) 2 per RV site. Extra vehicles and extra guests include a small fee. Please see the office to get additional parking and guest passes. No parking in the grass you will be asked to remove vehicle from these areas. Any damage done to property by vehicle will be charged to the responsible party. 

3. Visitors must be registered with the office and fees apply for day visitors and overnight visitors. Visitors will be given a daily parking pass for a small fee. Visitors must obey all campground rules.

4. Campfires are to be built only in provided sites and not left unattended. 

5. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of your fellow campers.

6. Help us conserve water, no washing of vehicles.

7. Speed limit is 5 MPH in the resort with no 4 wheeler or dirt bikes allowed.

9. Trash: Please keep your campsite clean and orderly. Use the designated dumpsters and trash receptacles to keep the campground enjoyable. If you need a trash bag, ask for one at the office. We ask that you clean up after yourself before you depart. Excessive cleaning will result in an additional charge. If dumpster is full please do not leave trash next to, or on top during the evening hours. If full please let the office know and they will find a place for your trash. 

10. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, per state law. Please pick up after your pet. Do not leave pets unattended. Unattended pets in cabins, tiny homes or glamping tents must be kenneled when alone. Limit of 2 dogs per cabin 3 per rv site unless special arrangements are made. If you are traveling

out-of-state you will need to bring a copy of your pet's records/vaccines.

11. State law requires no fluid discharge of any kind, including sink water, be allowed on the ground. 

13. No nails are permitted in the trees.

15. Please do not park in the grass, park in designated areas. If damaged you will be charged for landscape repair. 

16. Failure to comply with rules may result in eviction without refund.  

17. Management is not responsible or liable for accidents or injuries to guest. We are also not responsible for loss of money, jewelry, etc. due to theft. 

18. All Cabins are smoke free.

19. Must be 21 to rent a Cabin.

20. A valid credit card must be on file to rent a Cabin. These are inventoried prior to arrival and upon departure. Any damages or missing items will be charged to your card.

21. Pets are only permitted in the pet friendly units and must be crated when unattended. 2 dogs are allowed cabins.

 22. Please return your keys to the office upon check out, if you depart when the office is closed please leave the key in the night deposit box outside the office door. Any keys that are not returned are subject to a $150.00 re-key fee. 

23. No illegal drugs allowed on property or you will be asked to leave. 

24. Fire pits are not to be used for your trash, cigarette butts or even food. Any excessive cleaning of fire pits are subject to a $25 cleaning fee. Do not burn plastic. 

25. Guests in accommodations must wash dishes and bag up their trash. Any excessive cleaning is subject to a minimum $25 cleaning fee.

26. Please do not walk through others’ Cabin/camp sites.

27. Payment for your stay is due in full upon check in date.

28. Guest are responsible for any damages they cause.

RV SPECIFIC

Quite Hours:

10 pm – 8 am Strictly Enforced

Children:

You are responsible for all behavior and actions of the children with you. For safety reasons, age 15 and under must be supervised by an adult in all areas of the park.

Vehicles:

1 RV and 2 vehicles are allowed per site. Motor vehicles, including golf carts, may only be operated by licensed drivers and driven on established roadways designated for their use. All vehicles must fit on your site. Parking on other sites or in the grass is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused to the landscaping will be charged to the responsible party. No vehicle washing or repairs are allowed on site.

Trash:

Trash should not be left outside or burned in the fire rings. Guests are responsible for trash removal. The Dumpster is located on the main entrance road.

Speed Limit:

For the safety of everyone, our speed limit is 5 mph. This is strictly enforced.

Occupancy:

Limited to 8 people per site. Limit of 14 consecutive days unless approved by management.

Visitors:

Must be approved. Your visitors may park to either side of the front office but not on the grass or curb of your site. You will need to meet your visitors at the office and bring them to your site.

Grilling:

Grills are not allowed on top of the wooden picnic tables. When using park grills, please clean after using and dispose of all charcoal safely.

Smoking / Alcohol Policy:

If you smoke outside, please dispose of the byproduct in a responsible manner (not on the ground). Underage (under age 21) drinking is prohibited on the property. All guests are expected to behave in a respectable manor. Any lude or disrespectful behavior resulting from intoxication will result in guest(s) being asked to leave without refund.

Pets:

Must be kept on a leash. Pet owners must pick up after pets and dispose of waste in the dumpster. Aggressive breeds are prohibited for insurance purposes. Excessive barking could lead to the guest being asked to leave with no refund.

Not Allowed on Site:

Tents, Clotheslines, ATVs/UTVs, Generators. Camping equipment must be suitable for site.

Drainage:

All sites are full hookup. All RVs are required to have suitable holding tanks and must be self-contained. Drainage of water, soap, grease, or any other waste product on to the ground is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Wildlife:

Harassing wildlife or hunting is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Please be aware of your surroundings, you are in a very remote area full of wildlife. Snakes and other wildlife can cause injury and should be avoided.
