River and Twine

Full payment is required with a valid credit card at the time the reservation is made. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. As soon as we receive your reservation, we'll email you back a confirmation and a receipt after your credit card has been charged.

CONTACT-FREE CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Our check-in and outs are handled remotely, which means that while we are always available to help out, you won't need our help with getting access to your tiny home.

Check-in time begins at 3:00 pm. Prior to your arrival, you will receive a 4-digit key access.

Check-out time is 11:00 am. Your 4-digit key access code will be deactivated at 11:00 am so please have all your belongings removed from your home prior to closing.

TINY HOME SUBSTITUTION

River and Twine reserves the right to substitute a Tiny Home of similar or greater value than specified in the guest's reservation should the situation require it.

PETS

River and Twine welcome you and your pet in limited homes. For $25/day you may bring one pet weighing 40 pounds or less. All well-behaved properly leashed dogs are welcome. While accidents do happen, registered guests with pets will be held financially responsible for all damages to the property caused by pet discovered during their stay and/or immediately upon departure See more pet policy details when reserving with a pet.

SMOKING

All of River and Twine's homes are 100% non-smoking. An additional cleaning fee of $500 will be charged to any guest who violates this policy.

QUIET HOURS

River and Twine is nestled behind some of the Rocky Mount Mills village homes and out of respect for our residents and your River and Twine neighbors, we require quiet hours to begin at 10:00pm. Please, no loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct. After 10:00 pm, feel free to gather at one of the great breweries or restaurants at Rocky Mount Mills.

PARKING

There is a parking lot directly across from the River and Twine property for River and Twine guests. The main drive can be used loading/unloading only, but please refrain from parking directly in front of the homes.

HOUSEKEEPING

We pride ourselves on being an environmentally friendly hotel. Guests are encouraged to participate in our green policies by re-using their towels for the duration of their stay and conserving water. The homes are cleaned before new guests arrive, but we do not provide room service or cleaning during your stay. However, if you are staying more than three days, we are happy to supply fresh linens and schedule a cleaning upon request.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND

River and Twine shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, call River and Twine as soon as possible and we will arrange for shipment. We will inform you of the shipping cost and with your approval charge the credit card on file to cover the expense

DAMAGE

While accidents do happen, registered guests will be held financially responsible for all damages to the property or missing items discovered during their stay and/or immediately upon departure. Items including but not limited to: pet damage; soiled linens; blankets; coffee mugs; appliances; etc.

MOBILITY ISSUES

Each of our tiny homes offers a unique arrangement for sleeping and relaxing. Each home has a loft sleeping arrangement accessible by a ladder or stairs with the main level offering a sleep option (pull out or fold out couch). If you are need of a wheelchair accessible option, please consider the Guest House, as our tiny homes do not accommodate wheels chairs. Please call River and Twine for the Guest House availability.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By consenting to these terms, you agree that you accept the conditions in the tiny home that you are reserving. River and Twine is not liable for any personal injuries resulting from staying in or using the accommodations. You agree to indemnify and hold River and Twine harmless from and against any and all claims related to your stay, including attorney's fees incurred in defense of any such claims.
