Rules & regulations

No kids under seven (7) allowed.

No dumping and no leeching gray water on property.

Dogs always on leash on immediate property, except on hiking trails. PICK UP after your dogs.

Firewood is only provided when there is not a fire ban in Colorado and no red flag days. Firewood is $15 dollars a bundle. Please pay for it before you arrive. You may not bring your own wood on the property due to pine beetle problems.

No loud noise, screaming kids, fireworks, barking dogs, whistles, loud music, or partying. Quiet hours 10 P.M. to 7 A.M.

Be respectful of property, wildlife, and animals on the property. Do not come down to "see or walk around" the owner's house. Private property. Stay away.

No smoking outside, unless you bring sand/dirt to extinguish, do not throw/leave butts on the property!

Clean up your site and take all trash with you. Or you can use our 3 cubic foot dumpster.

There are natural yucca and cactus on the property, please bring suitable foot-ware.

No digging holes on the property.

Please dump your COLD grill ash and coals into a bag, and place in the dumpster provided AFTER dousing with water, please do not dump them on the land.

FOLLOW existing tire tracks on the property, do not make new ones. Follow flags and stay to the left of the flags to get to your spot. DO NOT make new tire tracks on the property, thank you!

All sites have picnic tables, and chairs, and fire-pit for your use. Please use jugs of water provided to douse your fire-pit before retiring for the evening. Windy night? NO fire-pit allowed.

If roasting marshmallows, they become like glue. Don't allow kids to drop them on the farm tables or chairs.

ALL OUTSIDE LIGHTS OFF by 10:00 P.M. They interfere with stargazing...especially OUTSIDE lights, lanterns, flashlights, and lights on trailers.

Aggressive or vicious dogs are not allowed, please use common sense. Your dog may not be aggressive, yet if it's never seen a horse, cat, cattle, or chickens, it might react differently, so keep this in mind.

Site 1 (Steamboat Rock) has tables, corn-hole game, chairs, fire-pit (Only if we are not in a red flag day). (Kid and pet friendly site) NO tents. Site 2 (Sheep Mountain) has table, corn-hole game, chairs, fire-pit (Only if we are not in a red flag day). (Kid and pet friendly site) NO tents. Site 3 (Grayback Ridge) has fire-pit (only if not in a red flag day), table and chairs. PETS/Children ALLOWED in this site. Great site for dogs. NO tents. Site 4 (Mummy Range) has table and fire-pit.(cannot use if in red flag day) (Hook up to water with artesian well) PETS/Children ALLOWED in site. Generators in this site are allowed. NO tents. Sites 6 and 7: ( Swallow River) no tents, pets or kids. Perfect for class As and larger rigs.

4:00 check in, and no later than 8:00 PM MUST be before dark. Need an earlier check in? Request it, and it'll be $25.00.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK US FOR ICE, tape, wire, tools, bug spray, SUNSCREEN, OIL, GAS, OR FUEL PRESERVER. Thank you. The Forks is one mile down the road and sells these things.

We do offer Tallow Skincare products, cinnamon rolls, chorizo, fresh eggs, lamb and steak, baked potatoes, pepper jelly, apple butter and regular house-made jams. Please order ahead on these items.

ONE SITE PER RV. If you want extra people in your site, they must also pay for a site. I can put you near them, but you can't rent one site, bring 15 people and many vehicles, and set up 5 tents! (Yes, had it happen once!) That is taking advantage! We charge per "sleeping" vehicle. In other words, if you want to bring friends who have campers then you need to book 3 sites and I would suggest booking one, two, and three, and then I will put you all in one and two together.

Our place presents many hazards for young children. They must be watched carefully. We have cactus and yucca plants.

Generators need to be camping ones. NOT industrial, loud Predators or large ones that make excessive noise and disturb other campers!
