In the land of Rip Van Winkle lies this 20-acre elevated mountain campsite with surrounding pine and cedar trees. Enjoy great views and lots of private space just one mile from the hamlet of Windham, NY.
During your camping adventure enjoy platinum member access to Christman's Windham House resort, pool, restaurants and golf courses. You may encounter local wildlife including deer, turkey, hawks, many species of songbirds, rabbits, and other small game.
Zip lining and summer music festivals are just 10 minutes away at Hunter Mountain. Windham Mountain a mile away offers huge mountain biking and a bike park.
The site is easily accessible from the NY State Thruway Rt 87 via Exit 21 to Route 23 West. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed to drive to the campsite, or, alternatively, park and hike 300 yards.
This campsite is equipped with a queen size bed. There are two twin mattresses also in the tent. It will sleep 4 adults.

Policies
Full refund, less booking fees, up to 3 days before check-in. 50% refund, less booking fees, when canceling within 3 days of check-in. 0% refund when canceling after 3pm on the check-in date.
Swimming pool access, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, golf access, restaurant access .2 miles away. The access road is grass and up a hill. 4 wheel drive of any kind will work fine. We access the site up that road on our golf cart. People have driven mini vans and sedans up the road but it is rough for that. The camp is about 300 yards from the paved driveway access. There is plenty of parking. There is an LP heater inside the tent. There is no electricity at the site. This is a camp site not a "glamping" site. There are no showers at the site other than the sun shower.
