Area is known for the University of Illinois ( fine arts performances, sports events, natural history, art, and culture museums), Lake of the Woods County Park, Clinton Lake, excellent health care facilities, Monticello train museum, Aikman Wildlife Adventure, Amish settlement with Monday livestock auction; Curtis Orchard, farmers markets, corn mazes, and pumpkin patches in season. Something for everyone!

Full refund, less booking fees, up to 3 days before check-in. 50% refund, less booking fees, when canceling within 3 days of check-in. 0% refund when canceling after 3pm on the check-in date.

Water is available by the barn and by the garage.
Fresh goat milk and eggs from free-range hens, jams, jellies, and maple syrup often available for purchase.
Some produce available in season.
Half-bath available inside north door of house.
Large hand-pulled wagon available to tote your gear to the site.
