Our adventure glamping sites are well equipped to provide an enjoyable and comfortable experience. It's a vacation rental, but camping style! Our sites are set up and awaiting your arrival. A sturdy safari-style canvas wall tent on an elevated wooden platform will be your home away from home. 

Our sites are located in a beautiful subrange of the Klamath Mountains called the Trinity Mountains and are close to downtown Mt. Shasta, CA. They highlight and are close to many wonders of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. From the parking area, each site is about a 2-minute hike.

Safari-Style Canvas Wall Tent

Each safari-style canvas wall tent sits on an elevated wooden platform and includes a private deck with seating for two. There is parking close by each site, however, there is no ADA access. The sites are Not Handicap Accessible. Inside the tent, there is a queen bed with fresh linens, pillows, a blanket, nightstands, lanterns, a coat rack, and a wastebasket. Cots can be provided for an additional charge. Outside the tent, you have access to a camp kitchen, 2-burner propane camp stove (you will need to bring propane), kitchen essentials, 5-gallon water container, solar shower, privacy tent with a camp toilet inside, an outdoor lantern, table, a hammock, and a fire ring. If fire restrictions are in place in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest then a propane fire pit will be provided in place of the fire ring. Propane can be provided for the fire pit for an additional charge.

Please note that there is limited cell service up at our sites and varies depending on your carrier.

Policies
Park Policy

Only Camp Credit will be issued. No cash or credit card refunds. You have up until 30 days prior to your arrival date to cancel for a 85% refund as a Camp Credit. We do charge a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within the 30-day window prior to your arrival date are non-refundable and no Camp Credit will be issued. All cancellation requests must be made in advance. Early departures or no-shows will still be chargeable at their full rate. Cold or inclement weather will not permit a refund (Camp Credit) for cancellation.  


If Out Livin' determines, in its sole discretion, it must cancel before or during a trip because of a condition beyond its control (including but not limited to natural disasters such as a volcanic eruption, wildfire, earthquake, flood, pandemic, government shutdowns, civil unrest or conflict, etc.), no refunds will be granted, but credits for future trips may be issued.  

Rules & Regulations

Pack out what you pack in!

All guests are required to have a 'Campfire Permit' through the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

All guests are required to send us a copy of your Campfire Permit before your stay.

The site and surrounding area are non-smoking. If we find that you have smoked in the tent, appropriate cleaning fees will be charged to your card.

Please remove your shoes before entering the tent.

Don't leave food out (this includes dog food). 

You will be responsible for any damages to your tent, furnishings, local landscape, and provided camp equipment and materials during your stay.


Please be mindful of sensitive areas (e.g. wildflowers and meadows).

No 4-wheeling at the site. Vehicles are to stay on provided roads only. 

No fireworks.

No introduction or removal of species.

Please don't harass wildlife.

Avoid any manipulation of the local landscape.

Be mindful of your noise levels. While the sites are secluded, loud noises (and for long periods of time) are stressful to local wildlife species.
