Ocean Grove RV Resort

SPEED LIMIT: 10 MPH. This includes golf carts, hoverboards, bicycles, etc. NO EXCUSES. Golf Carts may only be operated by a licensed driver. Drunkenness and fighting will not be tolerated.

PARKING: Only 1 vehicle is allowed per site. If the site can accommodate a second vehicle, there is a fee of $5.00 per day. ALL vehicles MUST display a tag from the rearview mirror. Any vehicle without a tag will be towed at the owner's expense.

GATE: DO NOT tailgate going through the gate. The gate will drop after every vehicle. Ocean Grove RV Resort is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or RVs due to negligence. There is a $100.00 fee if you break the gate. Cameras monitor the gate area and video will be reviewed. All Gate passes must be returned to the office or dropped in the black lock box next to the office door.

VISITORS: ALL visitors, including repair services, are required to check in through the office. DO NOT scan your gate pass to let someone else in.

DELIVERIES: ALL deliveries must be picked up from the office. Food and Grocery deliveries are not allowed in the park.

PETS: All pets, including cats, must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. RETRACTABLE LEASHES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Any cats found roaming the park will be trapped and turned over to the humane society. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Pets are NEVER to be left unattended. Animals are not allowed on the pool deck, under the restaurant pavilion, inside the restaurant, or in the laundry, shower, or fitness buildings. Pets are allowed in the south outdoor seating area of the restaurant. Be respectful of all Ocean Grove Guests. Do not walk your pet to other sites, occupied or unoccupied. Pick up your pet immediately. There is a $25.00 fine if pet waste is not picked up. For $750 per month, we will be happy to clean up after your pet every day.

POOL: Swimming Pool hours are from dawn to dusk. After-hours swimming is strictly prohibited. All infants MUST wear a swim diaper. No diving or jumping off the waterfall feature. No outside food, drinks, or coolers are allowed in the pool area. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the spa. Failure to follow pool rules will result in being asked to leave the pool area. Food and drink are not allowed within 6 feet of the pool.

SITES: All sites must be kept neat and orderly. Guests may not store items under or behind the RVs. This includes storage totes. No clotheslines, appliances, window a/c units, lawn ornaments, or propane tanks are allowed. Water and sewer leaks will not be tolerated. Cradles are required for all sewer hoses. A wash permit must be purchased from the office before washing vehicles and/or RVs.

CHILDREN: Children under 15 are not permitted inside pool or recreation center without a parent or guardian. A 15-year-old sibling is not a parent or guardian.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are not allowed on individual sites. Our community firepit is available for use at the front of the park. Fires must be extinguished by 11 pm.

AFTER HOURS: DO NOT call after hours for Cable or Wi-Fi.

We welcome your four-legged friends. However, please adhere to the rules regarding pets staying at Ocean Grove.

Good behavior is required. Pets of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the park.

Bring the leash. Pets must be kept on leashes no longer than six (6) feet outside their owners vehicles. Do not leave a pet unattended. Pet enclosures are allowed as long as owners are near the pets. Pet enclosures requirements: may only be black metal and no higher than 3' tall.

Please be courteous to your neighbors. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too noisy, you will be given one warning. If it continues, you will need to find other accommodations with no refunds.

Please pick up after your pet. Scoop the poop. We have plastic bags and disposal receptacles throughout the park for your convenience. Do not allow your pet your do their "business" on other people's campsites.

If you need to let your pet loose, please accompany them to our designated dog run area just north of the pool.

Pets are not allowed in any buildings, pools, or pond areas. Exceptions are made for service animals.

OCEAN GROVE RV RESORT SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

Service Animals: Ocean Grove welcomes all service animals as defined by Florida law. Under Florida law, a service animal is an animal that is trained to perform work or tasks for an individual with a disability, including physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. The provision of emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship is not work that is included in the definition of a service animal under Florida law. (Fla. Stat. §413.08 (1) (d))

Inquiries: To determine whether an animal is a pet or service animal, Ocean Grove managers may ask a guest whether an animal is a service animal required because of a disability and what work or tasks the animal is trained to perform. (Fla. Stat. §413.08 (3) (b))

Control: A service animal must be under the control of its handler and must have a harness, leash or other tether at all times, unless such items would interfere with the service animal's performance because of the handler's disability. If that is the case, the handler must maintain control of the service animal by voice control, signals, or other means. Further, the handler is solely responsible for the care and supervision of the animal, as well as the removal of animal excrement.

Exclusion: Ocean Grove will exclude or remove any animal, including service animals, if the animal:

is out of control and the handler does not effectively control it;

is not housebroken; or

poses a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

Suppose a service animal is excluded because it poses a threat to others. In that case, its handler will be given the option of staying at Ocean Grove without the service animal. (Fla. Stat. §413.08 (3) (f))

Penalties: Ocean Grove takes the rights of individuals who require the use of a service animal very seriously. The State of Florida has taken steps to hold those who abuse these rights criminally responsible. A person who knowingly and willfully misrepresents himself or herself, through conduct, verbal, or written notice as using or training service animal as defined by Fla. Stat. 413.08 (1) (d), commits a second-degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to 60 days imprisonment, a $500 penalty, and 30 hours of community service. (Fla. Stat. §413.058 (3) (f))
