Campground Important Information
Quiet Hours: Please respect other campers by respecting quiet hours of 10pm-8am each night.
Fires: Unless otherwise noted with signs around the campground or a message from Jonathan, fires are permitted. They must be kept inside the fire rings. If the wind is blowing strongly, we highly recommend no fire or very small fire for cooking purposes only. This is the high desert, and everything is extremely flammable during the summer. Fires must be completely put out before the last person in came goes to sleep, and they must be doused in water before you leave camp.
Firewood: Firewood laying around is free to burn. Please DO NOT cut anything that is still alive (has leaves or pine needles or is green). Also, please only cut what you will use. Leave unburned firewood for the next guests.
Pets: Pets are welcomed at Mountain View Campground, but we asks that they're kept on a leash when around other campers. There is a fenced-in area to the right of the private residence that is free to use as a dog run if needed, and all the land West and North of the campground is public land and great for hiking and letting your dog run.
Trash: There are a few trash receptacles around camp. Please throw your trash away, and do not litter in the campground. Practice "leave no trace" so that the next camper can enjoy their stay. DO NOT burn trash in the fire ring at your campsite.
Mountain View Campground is a private campground and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Unruly conduct will result in a dismissal from the premises with no refund.
