Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park

CAMPGROUND & RV PARK RULES and CANCELLATION POLICIES: Must read and agree prior to arriving.  

*YH Outpost LLC, DBA Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park is privately owned. All guests and visitors that enter property accepts privileges with the understanding that he or she does hereby release Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park, LLC, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its facilities, and agrees to indemnify the release Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park, LLC, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its facilities.   

*Ruidoso, New Mexico: (Altitude of 6,926 feet): Freezing temperatures are common in any season. DURING FREEZING WEATHER YOU MUST UNHOOK FROM ALL WATER SOURCES. Please use caution as all surfaces could be icy. You are responsible for preventing our faucets from freezing by disconnecting your water hose each night when freezing temperatures occur. Failure to disconnect will be subject to reimbursement for any damages which may occur.       

MMCRV Hours:

*Campground and RV Park: "OPEN YEAR ROUND"   

*Pavilion, Fitness, Sauna and Laundry Rooms: 9AM - 9PM

Visitor HOURS: 9AM - 9PM  

*Bathrooms/Private Showers: Open 24 Hours   

*98 River Park: Open Dawn to Dusk   

*Gift Shop/Office/Phone Hours: 9AM — 9PM  

*Quiet Hours: 9PM - 9AM. Strictly enforced.  

*Check-in time: 1PM - 9PM      

*Check-out time: 11:00 AM   

MMCRV Pet Policies: *We strive to be a pet-friendly park. *MMCRV has a small pet park/relief area —"Mojo's Little Dog Park". *Please remember to clean up after your pet. *Pets shall always be leashed and are welcome to walk the interior roads and trails of the entire park. *Please use your best effort possible to lead pets to the pet relief area for elimination. We all realize accidents happen. However, please do not intentionally use other parts of the park for elimination. *Pets should be kept under direct supervision and never left outside unattended. ***Even minor barkers should never be left in RV’s unattended. *You will be asked to leave park without refund if your pet bothers other campers. *Only official service animals are allowed in Restrooms, Laundry, Sauna & Fitness Room.   

MMCRV Site Policies: *Each site may be occupied by one RV (defined as motorhome, 5th wheel, travel trailer, pop-up trailer, cab-over truck camper, camper van, conversion vehicle or car camper), two people, one tent, one pet and one vehicle. *Extra charge for additional guests, pets and vehicles. See site specifics for maximum occupancy.   

MMCRV Visitors/Non-overnight Guests: MMCRV welcomes friends and family to visit. We respectfully request that extra vehicles park in your designated site or at Gift Shop (please do NOT park in other sites or in roadway) . Visitors must follow all MMCRV Park rules. VISITATION HOURS ARE FROM 9AM - 9PM.   

MMCRV Tipi/Teepee "Glamping" Sites: Sites 11A Tipi, 12A Tipi, 12B Teepee. Sorry - no pets, no inside smoking. Provided: Electricity at site, two (2) twin beds, pillows with sheets and light blanket, one lamp, one space heater, one fan, two sets of towels/wash cloths, charcoal grill, outside table, two chairs and parking for one vehicle. Two guests maximum. Restrooms, showers and water are available in general area. Needed: SLEEPING BAG in cold weather and personal items.    

MMCRV General Policies: *This is wildlife country. Help keep the park safe by storing all food inside. *Do not feed the wildlife and keep a safe distance at all times. *Please do not dump grease or food products on the ground - this attracts wildlife. *DO NOT place grills directly on the wood tables, benches or other wood structures. *Please park and set up only in your assigned site. *A sealed sewer connection (such as a sewer elbow) is required. *For safety reasons, please do not use clotheslines in the park. *For the safety of our younger guests, we ask that parents accompany children under 14 using the facilities. *Children should use extreme caution when crossing or playing near any park roads. *NO LOUD MUSIC AT ANY TIME. *No running of generators. *No RV washing allowed. *Limit your cleaning to windows and small areas. *No solicitation on park property. *Please refrain from doing any repairs to your vehicle or RV on-site. *Please confine consumption of alcoholic beverages to your site. *No "for sale" signs displayed while on MMC property. *MMCRV does not accept mail or packages for guests. (We will make exceptions for RV 'emergency' supplies & full-time RVers).   

MMCRV Maximum Stay Policy: *RV/Trailer/Camper/Nomad Sites: Three to six months. *Maximum stay for "Glamp" teepee sites: seven (7) days. MMCRV is not a long term park.   

MMCRV Trash/Recycle: A bear-proof trash dumpster is located near the front entrance. Metal trash cans for daily trash are located throughout park. These trash cans are emptied multiple times per day. Recycle receptacles are available in the Thriftway Parking Lot.   

MMCRV Extras: *Be respectful to other campers! We want every MMCRV guest to have an awesome experience. *Please respect your neighbor by not walking across other campers’ sites. *No political, controversial or 'poor taste' Flags or Outdoor Displays. *No open fires are permitted in the park or within the Village of Ruidoso city limits.  *Keep your site neat and clean.   *Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Management reserves the right to evict anyone for behavior detrimental to the campground and its visitors or failing to observe the Rules and Regulations.
