Follow through time, history, and the footsteps of Spanish explorers and missionaries, Indian war parties, and Texas heroes like Jim Bowie. Experience excellent hunting for whitetail deer, axis, turkey, wild boar, fox, bobcat, and mountain lion. Test your fishing skills in the pristine San Saba river flowing through Menard only a mile from the park. You can also explore the Texas Hill County.
The Presidio de San Saba is only minutes from Lost Silver Mine RV Park, and the County golf course is just to the east. Spend a relaxing evening golfing while enjoying the evening and the serene sounds of the San Saba River as it flows along the southern edge of the golf course. The Menard County Historical Museum is a great place to learn about the rich local history and come to appreciate the Presidio de San Saba even more. Non-Fire Campground
Personal charcoal and propane grills are permitted. See Park Map for hot coal disposal dumpsters. Do not put hot coals in garbage containers. Fireworks are prohibited on the Campground premises and on the property.
