The Lazy-A Campground is located approximately 85 miles west of Washington, DC, in Back Creek Valley, West Virginia. We are a family-owned and operated business striving to provide your family with a unique experience of the great outdoors including traditional camping and fishing. We have 32 campsites, 14 of which are mostly shaded and equipped with water and 30 amp electrical service for RV camping. The other 18 sites are more “primitive”, located among the trees along Back Creek. There is a dump station on the left and dumpster on the right at the exit of the campground. Campfires are permitted within the fire rings provided.
There are 14 sites with water and 30-amp electric hookups for RV’s. In addition, there are two 50 amp and one 30 amp sites with water and sewer available on a separate lot. There is a laundry room available when the office is open. Separate male and female restroom facilities with hot showers are available 24hrs a day. Each has 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks with electric outlets at sinks.

Camp credit will be offered on any canceled reservations.
All campground rules must be followed.
Must be 18 or older to rent a campsite or cabin.
Two night minimum rental during weekends.
All reservations are to be paid in full at the time of reservation. Camp credit will be offered on any canceled reservations.
Cabin Reservations
Cabin sleeps four to include two adults and two children under 12. Five person maximum per rental.
Check-in time is between 2:00-6:00pm unless previously arranged with management. Early check-in is subject to availability.
Checkout time is 1:00pm.
Two night rental minimum and three night minimum on holidays.
Pets are a case by case allowance. A crate is required for your pet(s).
No refunds for weather related cancellations. Camp credit will be offered for you to enjoy at a later date.
Visitor Hours are over at 8 pm.
Speed limit is 5 mph at all times.
No ATVs. Motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver.
Pets are permitted on a leash only. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
Please place your garbage in dumpster at exit.
Please properly dispose of cigarettes.
Car or RV washing is not allowed on site.
No firearms, hunting, fireworks, or chainsaws allowed.
No loud music or offensive language.
No drunk or disorderly conduct.
Absolutely no underage drinking (under age 21). No illegal drugs.
Campfires in the designated fire rings only and must be kept to a reasonable size. Campers are responsible for ensuring all campfires are extinguished prior to leaving.
The laundry room & restrooms are not play areas. Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12 in these areas.
Swimming and all water activities are at your own risk.
Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their guests.
Quiet hours are 11 pm.-7 am.
Campers are permitted to use the pavilion unless reserved for an event.
Campers are not permitted entry into the barn without prior authorization.
All guests must obey posted signs.
