Policies
REFUNDS
Refunds are not given. We give camping credits (with an 18-month expiration date), if applicable, for future stays. No refunds or credits will be given for weather, late arrivals or early departures, or if you’ve been asked to leave for violation of campground policies.
CANCELLATIONS
If your planned stay is 14 days or less and you cancel 15 days or more prior to the planned arrival date, 25% of your initial deposit will be forfeited, and any remaining balance will be issued as a camping credit.
Cancel between 3 and 14 days prior to the planned arrival date, 100% of your initial deposit will be forfeited. If the guest has already paid the remaining reservation balance, this will be issued as a camping credit.
Cancel less than 48 hours prior to the planned arrival date/time 100% of the total reservation will be forfeited. If you do not show by 11:59 PM on planned arrival date and have not contacted us about your late arrival, your site will be forfeited at 11:59 PM.
If there is a problem with your planned arrival date/time, you MUST contact us prior to the planned arrival to avoid site forfeiture.
If your planned stay is 15 days or greater and you cancel 32 days or more prior to the planned arrival date, 25% of your initial deposit will be forfeited, and any remaining balance will be issued as a camping credit.
Cancel between 14 and 31 days prior to the planned arrival date, 100% of your initial deposit will be forfeited. If the guest has already paid the remaining reservation balance, this will be issued as a camping credit.
Cancel less than 14 days prior to the planned arrival date/time 100% of the total reservation will be forfeited. If you do not show by 11:59 PM on planned arrival date and have not contacted us about your late arrival, your site will be forfeited at 11:59 PM.

CHANGE/MODIFY
As a one-time courtesy, we will allow a change in reservation dates if you contact us at least 15 days prior to the start of a reservation no longer than 14 days, or 32 days prior to the start of a reservation longer than 14 days.
If we cannot accommodate your new dates, the same cancellation policies above apply.
NOTE:
We do not allow transfers to another party.
We do not allow sub-leasing of sites.
If you double book, the above cancellation policies still apply.
Regardless of the cancellation reason, the cancellation policies will still apply. We are very firm on this.

VEHICLES
All vehicles must be clean and in good repair.
Max speed limit is 10 MPH.
Vehicles, motorized and non-motorized may only be used on roads. Do NOT park on grass.
One RV and one tow/towed vehicle is allowed per site. We do charge for extra vehicles. Contact the office to settle charges and determine parking area.
No electric vehicle charging is allowed.
DAMAGES & LIABILITY
All campers and guests use all campground spaces and facilities at their own risk.
The guest who reserved the campsite will be held accountable for damages caused by the customer, their guests, children, pets, vehicles, etc.
Lake Haven Family Campground is NOT responsible for damages to camper or guest property.
CONDUCT
Be considerate of other campers and guests.
Children must be supervised at all times and return to their campsite by 10 PM.
Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM.
Campfires are only allowed in provided firepits and must be extinguished before retiring or leaving the property.
Do not dispose of trash in firepits.
Drunkenness will NOT be tolerated.
If drinking alcoholic beverages away from your campsite, please use a koozie or cup, in consideration of other campers and the church next door.
The barn and construction areas are off limits.
The farmhouse is off-limits except for those renting the farmhouse or their guests.
PROHIBITED
Generators, tents, and any type of camper without full electric, sewer, and water hookups.
Overnight outside lighting.
Fireworks.
Washing vehicles of any type.
Oil changes and other mechanical work.
Permanent structures or connections.
Dumping liquid on the ground or in dumpsters.
Subleasing of sites.
ANIMALS
Pets must always be contained at your campsite or on leash.
Campers and guests must pick up after their pets.
Guests assume all liability for damages and incidents caused by their pets.
Aggressive animals will not be tolerated and may cause guests to be evicted.
Be bear aware. Do NOT leave food or garbage in the open, unattended.
Property and buildings are monitored.
Customer grants to Lake Haven Family Campground, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. Customer authorizes Lake Haven Family Campground, its’ assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Lake Haven Family Campground may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
ADDITIONAL FEES
A maximum of 2 adults with a total headcount of 6 are included in the standard nightly rate (i.e. this could be 1 adult and 5 children or 2 adults and 4 children).
Additional adults (i.e. over 2 adults) will be charged $5 each per night.
2 vehicles are included in the standard nightly rate. This could be the RV and the two vehicle, or the RV and an additional vehicle.
Additional vehicles will be charged $5 per night and must be parked where directed by the office.
