No refunds will be given if requested within 15 days of your first scheduled camping or lodging day - all payments will be forfeited. There is a cancellation charge of $5 per permit, regardless of length of stay.

Rules & regulations

Smoking, including E-cigarettes, and the use of tobacco products in State Parks, is prohibited.

Guests must provide their own liquid hand soap and hand sanitizer.

Check-in: 3pm. Check-out: 10am.

Permit must be printed, signed and in your possession while camping or lodging.

Online reservations for the cabins at Kalopa must be made at least seven (7) days in advance of check-in date. No changes will be accepted to an existing permit less than seven (7) days prior to the check-in date.

Tent camping: permitted campers may occupy camp site from 1:00 p.m. on first day of reservation and leave site by 12:00 p.m. on departure day. Do not drive vehicles into campgrounds; park in marked stalls only. No open fires except in designated grills. Smoking, including E-cigarettes, and the use of tobacco products in State Parks, is prohibited. Camp site and surrounding area must be cleaned and fires put out before leaving.

The use or possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

Use or possession of fireworks, firecrackers, explosives, firearms and other weapons is prohibited.

Fires are allowed only in the fireplaces and grills designated by State Parks. Portable stoves or warming devices may be used in designated camping and picnicking areas unless otherwise prohibited. Dump live coals only in designated ash pits or receptacles.

Operation or use of any portable electric generator is prohibited, except with a special use permit.

Pets and other animals are prohibited in campgrounds and cabins.

Nudity is prohibited.

Drive and park motor vehicles only on designated roads and parking areas provided or posted for such usage.

Place all waste in provided trash cans only and pack out all trash from wilderness parks.

Do not operate or use any audio device, television or musical instrument in such a manner and at such times so as to create excessive noise or nuisance.

Leave the wildlife and their habitat undisturbed except where hunting and fishing is permitted subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

Leave all plant life undisturbed. Do not cut trees for firewood. Where permitted, reasonable quantities of fruits and seeds may be gathered for personal use.

Leave all geological, historical, and archaeological features undisturbed.
