Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort

Johnny’s Lakeside is a family and pet-friendly RV resort. Our goal is to provide a safe facility for your relaxing stay. You can help us achieve this goal by being considerate of other campers and following the guidelines. We reserve the right to safeguard our guests, employees, wildlife, landscape and facilities.

General:

• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 4pm. Saturday, 9am - 1pm. Hours are subject to change based on the time of year.

• Check-In / Check-Out: RV Check-in: 1pm. RV Checkout: 11am. Cabin Check-in: 3pm. Cabin Checkout: 10am. Please call the office if you need a little more time.

• Photos: Entrance into the resort and surrounding property constitutes permission/consent for the management of the resort to use any pictures, films or videos of guests and guest’s visitors for any lawful purpose without compensation.

• For Emergencies/After Hours Concerns: Call our main number and leave a message stating the site number, your name and the emergency. If the emergency is life threatening, call 911.

• The responsible party must be a registered guest age 21 years or older. A credit/debit card and deposit are required for registration purposes.

• Speed Limit: Speed limit is 5 MPH. We expect all guests to take extra precautions and watch out for children.

• Rates: Vary seasonally and annually.

• Visitors/Guests: Visitors are welcome. Facility usage is $5 per visitor. Bracelets are provided upon registration and payment. Bracelets are required for participation.

• Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Children and teenagers are required to be with parent(s) and/or guardian(s) after quiet hours begin.

• Bicycle Helmets: Persons 16 years and younger are required by the state of Alabama to wear a helmet.

• Battery-Operated Vehicles: Children’s battery-operated vehicles are welcome to be ridden within the park area only. Remember that RVs are not able to see children riding these vehicles. Vehicles must be put away at dusk.

• Motorized Vehicles (Cars, Trucks, SUVs): We allow two vehicles per site. Any person operating a motorized vehicle in this park must be a licensed driver and have the license on his/her person. One motorcycle is welcome in addition to the two vehicles.

• Golf Carts: Same rules apply as with motorized vehicles. Must be registered with the office.

• ATV’S, 3-Wheelers or 4-Wheelers CANNOT be ridden on premises.

• Month-to-Month $100 Deposit Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds against any monthly deposit due to cancellation.

• The Activities Center can be reserved for private use if booked seven days in advance. A $100 non-refundable cleaning deposit is due at time of reservation. Additional cleaning charges may occur.

Site Rules for All Guests of Johnny’s Lakeside RV Resort:

• Sites are limited to 2 adults and up to 4 children. Additional guests may register for a fee of $5 a person per night.

• Please keep your site clean, neat, and orderly.

• Please respect the preservation of nature. Do not destroy, alter or otherwise damage wildlife, trees or any other earthly growth. Feel free to kill the mosquitoes.

• Please refrain from parking in an empty site. We do get late arrivals and you might be on their site.

• Storage of household items & kitchen appliances strictly prohibited, i.e. tools, household goods, “junk.” This includes but is not limited to washers, dryers, refrigerators, and freezers.

• We do not allow camping tents, picnic table tents, storage buildings, or carports to be used as storage locations on your site. We have storage available for rental on site.

• We welcome outdoor rugs, not to be placed over any current or potential grass-covered area.

• We reserve the right to request the removal of additional rugs or an unreasonably sized rug.

• No parking on the grass.

Pet Policies:

• Pets are not permitted in resort-owned buildings, including the bathrooms, lakehouse and activities center. Pets are also not permitted in the waterpark.

• Common courtesy regarding guests with pets is expected.

• Pets are to be kept on a leash at all times for the safety of ALL pets and/or guests.

• Pet droppings are to be picked up immediately and disposed of appropriately. Bags and cans are available around the park for your convenience.

• A dog run is available for playtime. Clean up after your pet with the bags and garbage can provided.

• Any dog showing aggressive behavior will not be permitted in the resort.

Garbage:

• All garbage must be securely sealed and placed at the end of the site driveway no later than 10 a.m. Please do not leave your trash bags outside overnight. Strays and wild animals will likely think it’s a food source.

• Large items such as furniture, mattresses, grills, etc. may not be disposed of at the resort.

Bathhouses and Restrooms:

• We ask for your cooperation in keeping the restrooms and showers neat and tidy at all times.

• Please report any untidiness or unsafe conditions to the office so it may be addressed immediately.

• Please accompany young children in need of parental guidance to the restroom locations.

• Flush, brush, and wash as appropriate.

Laundry Faculty:

• Do not wash pet bedding, pet blankets, or pet clothing in our washers.

• Please be on time to maintain personal clothing when the cycle is finished. Clothes left in the machines for extended periods of time will be removed and placed on the folding table for pickup.

• Please do not wash heavy blankets, comforters, or rugs in our washers.

Smoking/Alcoholic Beverages:

• Smoking is not permitted in resort-owned buildings.

• Please can your butts and help keep our park litter-free.

• All alcoholic beverage cans and bottles must be covered when out of your own campsite.

Pool/Waterpark Area:

• NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian of 19 years or older.

• Any person(s) adult or child who is known to have visible open sores is not permitted to swim in the pool. This is to include sores of the mouth, face, and/or body.

• Pool use is for registered and paid guests only.

• No glass allowed in the pool area at any time.

• Adhere to all rules posted at the waterpark, including the slides.

• Please do not get in the pool if you have diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.

Campfires:

• Campfires may be made in approved personal campfire pits.

• All campfires must be fully extinguished before being left unattended, including retiring to your camper.

• Campfires must be 10 feet from RVs and other structures.

Lake:

• Fishing is allowed from the shoreline only. Do not fish from the gazebo.

• The lake is catch and release unless otherwise specified for a tournament.

• Swimming is not permitted.

Conduct:

• Registered guest(s) is/are aware that the credit card on file will be charged for damages caused by neglect or intentional abuse of or theft of Johnny’s Lakeside RV Resort property.

• We reserve the right to dismiss/evict anyone violating the common rules of good camping, destroying property, or creating a disturbance.

• Registered guests are responsible for ensuring that their children and guests observe all rules at all times.

• This is a private campground. We reserve the right to change and/or interpret our “Guidelines” to maintain a comfortable destination camping environment for all.
