Located in the abundant woods surrounding the majestic Saco river, you will find the historic Maine Central Railroad (MEC). The legendary MEC dates back to the 1800s making these railway tracks a perfect spot to stop and snap some fun photos. A short walk from the MEC you can discover a swimmers paradise. A warm sandy beach hiding behind the trees, even the locals have yet to discover. Come enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, warm waters, and soothing sounds of nature here in these secluded woods.
Outlook: We welcome our guests to this unique and remarkable location. About an hour southeast of Mount Washington or a ten-minute drive to Maines's second largest lake, Sebago Lake. Just a trail walk away from your campsite, you will find the historic Maine central railroad- whether your adventurous side calls for an outdoor nature walk or perhaps a fun photo op for the history buff in you, there's plenty of sightseeing for all. Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing is made easy here. Wake up to the Eastern Maine sunrise and fall asleep to the sound of loons and owls, in this wilderness hideaway. Hidden Beach: Wooded retreat right off the banks of the naturally flowing Saco river. In this secluded forest, you will find colorful wild berries, bountiful fishing, an extremely hard-working beaver, a historical railway, your own private beach and minutes walk to a river waterfall where you can lay on the sand and soak up the warm sun. Plenty of space to find yourself one with mother nature and all she has to offer.You can also enjoy a day trip to Portland or North Conway, New Hampshire, from this campsite. Peruse the independent bookstores, grab a lobster roll or pick up some sweet treats at the Whtie Mountain Cupcakery. LL Bean fans can also reach the flagship store and outlet in Freeport within a one-hour drive.Your Signature campsite sleeps up to 6 campers - two on the Queen Bed (with bedding) in the platform safari tent and up to 4 additional campers in the included pop-up tent. The site also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs where you can kick back and take in the stars at night. Our campsite is pet-friendly as long as your dog does well with other dogs and small children.If you're looking to camp with friends or another family we have 3 Tentrr campsites on this property: Horsehoe River: Brookside, Horsehoe River: Hidden Beach, and Horseshoe River Outlook. The sites are approximately 200-300 yards from each other. Brookside is pretty tucked away from the other two sites.

Full refund, less booking fees, up to 3 days before check-in. 50% refund, less booking fees, when canceling within 3 days of check-in. 0% refund when canceling after 3pm on the check-in date.
Do pack food, flashlights, firewood and an extra layer to keep you warm if the temperature drops. Always Leave No Trace! Please anything you bring in (including garbage), remember to bring out. Thank you. Clean up after your pet :) if you need bags we will provide them to you.. please be mindful of your pets temperament, only you know your pet. If your furry friend is aggressive please keep them home. In order to ensure the safety of everyone please keep your pets leashed when going for walks and around other campers.
