First option is nestled in the woods near the public access to the Cherokee National Forest. There are plenty hiking trails on and around the property for campers to enjoy and take in the Tennessee scenery. The second option is a meadow view of the spring fed creek with clear morning sunrises.

Hiwassee Hideout - Coleman Outfitted Site Signature Site: Campsite with a canvas tent and outfitted with Coleman camping gear. Hiwassee glamping is magically nestled inside the Cherokee National Forest. The safari tent site overlooks a creek and valley away from the hooks of everyday life to escape the stresses of a world wide pandemic. No cell phone service here.

The Hiwassee River is within hiking distance for fishing or tubing. John Muir Trail follows the Hiwassee River. The Hiwassee Train Loop runs follows the river through the Cherokee National Forest.

House rules for a happy stay

Full refund, less booking fees, up to 3 days before check-in. 50% refund, less booking fees, when canceling within 3 days of check-in. 0% refund when canceling after 3pm on the check-in date.

Hike the trails with a friend. Walk the trails with your pets. Do not feed the wild animals. Respect the land and tent as you would your own.
• What you carry in, you must carry out!
• Check campsite for trash or belongings.
• Carefully pack up the dome tent (if you used it).
• Clean out Tentrr CampBox.
• Place (empty) Tentrr Loo inside canvas tent.
• Zip up all tent windows and doors (clasps, too).
• Take all your garbage to the designated trash point (check with your Campkeeper).
• Clean up after your dog.
• Clean grill with brush after use.
